Madruga Cafe in Miami exceeded expectations! Impeccable service, spotless ambiance, and the chicken with white rice, black beans, and fried plantains were divine. A delightful departure from my usual Mexican fare in San Diego. Fried plantains stole the show!

When it comes to a home away from home meal, I recommend the kitchen at Madruga Cafe. I have been coming here for years and today I had the usual. I haven't had this since 2017. Still as good as it was 6 years ago. Nothing fancy inside and a small place; but sitting on the atoll is a must. That's old skool.

Found this gem after leaving MIA for a drive to the Keys. It lived up to its 5 stars. If you're looking for fancy this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for real home cooked food you won't be disappointed. It was as if we were guests at Alberto and Aida's home. Great conversation and great food. Aida's Vaca Frita didn't disappoint. Can't wait for the next opportunity to enjoy their food and hospitality.

Food was really fresh. I ordered a chicken soup and I also ordered a pollo a la plancha and a vaca frita. So good. I love really great Cuban food and friendly atmosphere!

My boyfriend and I just ate breakfast here for the first time and omg I’m so glad we did! The cafe con leche, tostada, scrambled eggs, chorizo was so delicious! We’re definitely coming back to try their lunch!
