Long wait, but who cares when the food is this good. Fries were crisp and fresh, but the real star of the show was Phyllis' Broccoli Breakfast Hash. Seriously, probably one of my favorite menu items I've eaten in Miami in a long while. Deliciously crisp, cheesy, potato-y, and with full, earthy broccoli flavor, this hash is worth every penny. The sunny side eggs are the cherry on top! If you're here, please try this - you won't regret it.

Well this was fun! I would call it traditional diner-fare with a higher end twist. It gets busy. Like very busy. So plan accordingly or get there early. We managed to snag a booth for four on a Saturday (no reservation) at 0930. I believe the menu recently changed, but everything we ordered was delicious. Vegetarian options available! Highly recommend!

Coffee was delicious here, specifically the Cafe con Leche. Way better than Starbucks across the street. The only reason for 4 stars was that the quiche could have had a bit more eggs and fewer plantains. We loved the French toast though. Would visit again.

THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES TO GO FOR A SUNDAY BRUNCH. I've been to Chug's many, many times, and I never, ever had a bad experience. The decoration takes you to a charming Havana with all those old french elements to the details. Once I get there, I always order the coffee with steamed milk. That takes me back to my childhood in Brazil. On the food side, I think I had almost every item they have on the menu but I always have to order the CAST IRON PANCAKE ($17) to share with the table. The pancake is tall and remembers a vanila cake. It comes already with the syrup on the plate. Last time I went there I tried the PHILLIS BROCCOLI BREAKFAST HASH ($16) and this dish is now my number two on their menu. It is a mixture of broccoli, potato, cracker, red onion and cheese sauce on a small pan with an egg on top, it's really good. The DUCK CROQUETAS ($8) it's also a must, and it comes with a side of orange and mustard type of jelly. If you are an avocado fan, you should try the AVOCADO SANDWICH ($15), or if you just want to have a usual breakfast, LA COMPLETA ($15) is what you are looking for. They serve it with a Cuban Tostada that is very light and crispy. The price is grate, and all the portions are very fulfilling. IF YOU HAVEN'T HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT CHUG'S, I HIGLY RECOMMEND IT!

Delicious. We had a great brunch on a Saturday morning, albeit it was already getting busy early. Coffee and our breakfast sandwiches were all tasty. One small thing was the menu's font was tiny, but that was a minimum.

Super-fun pit stop for lunch! Amazing maduros, yucca bites, bloody mary, and Cuban sandwich. Friendly service and suggestions. Sat at the bar to see whats cookin! So fun!

The food was exceptionally delicious! Rating 4 stars because they were understaffed which led to our table being pushed another 20 min and then another 20 min and so on. What was supposed to be a 35 min wait ended up being closer to an hour and a half. But the pancake was worth the wait!

Great food, service, and ambience, but beware they run out of half their menu by the time they close. I'm not exaggerating: they had to mark the few items that were left, and I even got my milkshake with no whipped cream. Plus the wait was so long that our (great) server told us the manager was coming to speak to us. We waited twenty minutes, then left. Guess they were short on managers too.

This is a great Cuban derived diner in Coconut Grove. We came here for an early lunch/late breakfast with some friends. I had the Cuban sandwich and we shared Yuca bites and the Mariquita (which I had never had before and it was very good). My friend ordered a turkey club which somehow got sent to the wrong table so his order came out really late, but our waiter was extremely apologetic and offered to comp us something - very good service and food
