Spectacular ambience and great food!! On my last visit to miami, we ordered quite many dishes and liked every thing, quite rare. We had dosas, mutton dishes, minced paratha etc. I hope to visit them if they open again.

By far one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. A complete departure from the usual Indian restaurants that you are used to seeing around the world. A very modern design and functionality with Indian fusion atmosphere add to the amazing food. Not only is the food great tasting but the presentation is extremely appealing.
Maska in Miami is definitely not to be missed!! Definitely a jewel for foodies with a taste for spice.

Food was really good. The fried rice was a different taste since it is put on tandoori after its fried, very nice spicy flavor. Unimpressed with lambchops, they are not juicy and with seasoning you don't even feel Lamb chop original flavor.
Very nice place inside and outside. Bathrooms are not on par with place. Not dirty but not super clean, sink had a broken hand, and bathroom had some smell to it. Service can also be better. Took to long for everything.
Overall good food, needs some little adjustments to be close to perfection.. Will come back to try different plates.

Came in 30 min before closing. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. Sat down anywhere we wanted lol. The setting is really nice and eye pleasing.
Best butter chicken I tasted for some time. Bombay Darbar you clearly have competition. Our order was
Lamb biryani $28
Maska chicken $24
Chana masala $9
Fenugreek and potato kulcha $9
Diet Coke $6
Came to 81.32 with tax
I have to be honest the place is a bit pricey compared to other Indian places. Also portions are small compared to price.
Still a must go if you love Indian food. The spice was just right, you can feel the spice, but it’s not overwhelming.
Overall enjoyable experience and great staff.

Newly Opened Indian fine Dining restaurant in the heart of Mid Town Miami by Michelin Star Chef Hemant Mathur. Fabulous Decor coupled with an exquisite and delicious Menu. A few of the speciality dishes include Maska Chicken, Crab Dumplings, Chef Hemant's Special Cauliflower, Duck Dosa Taco, Tandoori Lobster, Tandoori jumbo Prawns and the Dum Biryani to name a few. A must visit when in Miami for some delicious mouth watering Indian Food.

I was fortunate enough to go to the restaurant right when it was opening and as a result I was able to taste many wonderful dishes. There is a large variety to the menu and everything we tried was outstanding. In addition to the food the restaurant is very beautiful and has a nice atmosphere.

I know, I know..... you may be thinking how is it possible to give it only 3 stars... but in reality, it is fairly easy. Based on food preparation and service.
As we arrived to Maska it is important to say that our table was ready for the time of our reservation. In fact there were quite a few empty tables and this is going to be important because service was not on point.
To start we ordered a bottle of wine and appetizers and actually our waiter recommended that we should put our entire order at the same time because it would help the flow of the kitchen. So we did.
Appetizer came... but not the bottle of wine. We had to flag our waiter... which later brought it.
With dinner main dishes came but we needed to re-order the butter Naan (bread)... because again... they never brought it. So, service could be greatly improved. To me it was a little disorganized.
Food was a different story. The cauliflower appetizer was quite good but not what I would think or describe as Indian cuisine. It actually had a very different flavor profile.
The Branzino cooked in the tandoori oven was beautifully prepared and had a really nice and balanced spices and flavor. Chana masala was okay as it was the lamb shank dish. Not the best but fair dishes compared to other more traditional Indian restaurants. I think when you try to recreate these dishes and give them a little "modern twist"... the chef is loosing the actual essence of the dish.
The best course was actually dessert. I believe it was the kulfi falooda... a rich, creamy icecream with toppings and ingredients that can actually transport you to India and all of their wonderful spices and delicious ingredients. Now, this dish is worth coming here for.
The actual restaurant is very inviting and has a really nice vibe. Low lighting, and hip music playing at a nice volume. The Bar is elegant and I can see why it attracts a very trendy crowd. It has some signature drinks that talking to a few people that were there told me they were really good.
Overall a regular experience at a nice place
