A Nicaraguan Restaurant to be proud of if you are Nicaraguan American! Here you will find all the greatest hits of Nicaraguan cuisine and you will be treated like a Queen/King. The food and the service is impeccable. If you are in a rush I suggest you make a reservation otherwise sit down relax and enjoy the beautiful lush plants with a glass of wine. Enjoy our little place of heaven in Sweetwater!

Excellent service and food. Very quickly done even though wait time was one hour, we were ready in 40min since it was so packed would recommend to call if they do reservations. 3 of us ate with full belly and took food home for just $125 including the tip.

Located in a strip mall, this place seems totally out of place here because of its upscale feel to it. But don’t let that fool you! Food is Nicaraguan comfort food: gallo pinto (rice and beans(, tostones, churrasco, yuca, repollo, etc. The service was very friendly, unassuming and our server was helpful in describing some of the dishes. If you go with someone who has never had food from Nicaragua, you have to order the antojitos appetizer dish. It comes with a little bit of everything: yuca, tostones, beans, chips, and the list goes on. For entree, they have an extensive menu but I normally get the churrasco which is always tender. The table is set with 3 different salsas: chimichurri being the most common one. The red/orange one is the best one since it is spicy: try mixing it with the chimichurri for a different take. The table also had a dressing that was similar to the Olive Garden salad dressing that was yummy. For dessert we got a flan and a Nicaraguan tres leches. The tres leches portion was on the slightly bigger than one size and it was really good: the cake wasn’t dry or mushy from all the liquid and the frosting was on point. Don’t let the strip mall location scare you away, this place is really good.

I haven't been here in YEARS! I am so glad I decided to visit on this trip back to Miami. The food was spectacular! The service was great with very friendly servers. You can tell the restaurant has been remodeled somewhat recently, very modern & comfy chairs!! The price for plates were very reasonable as well.

Great food & great atmosphere. Food is absolutely very tasty - Churrasco de Res y Churrasco de pollo, and the desert is superb-do not leave w/o trying the "pio quinto" Natural drinks are also great.

The food is good, they have maintained some of the Nicaraguan flavor. They have the best quesillo with the correct flavor I have tasted in South Florida, and I have tried many Nicarguan places looking for a real Nicaraguan quesillo. Wait times are a bit long but once seated the service is very good.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Madrono restaurant in Miami, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. With the abundance of culinary options in Miami, we decided to explore the flavors of Nicaraguan cuisine, and Madrono did not disappoint. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a bustling atmosphere that immediately signaled the popularity of the place. The extensive menu, predominantly in Spanish, initially overwhelmed me, but the staff quickly came to my rescue. They promptly found an English-speaking waiter who guided me through the menu, making the ordering process much smoother. The recommendations provided by our waiter were spot-on, and I decided to try the Churrasco Nicaraguense. This delightful dish featured a char-grilled center cut tenderloin steak accompanied by a creamy jalapeño sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection, exactly as I had requested, and every bite was an explosion of flavor. We truly enjoyed our dinner.
