If you're looking for a great burger and lots of draft beer selections, this is the place! We loved the atmosphere. This was our first time here, and they gave us a little treat for visiting. Thank you! If we are ever back in Miami, we will definitely be visiting again. I definitely recommend it. We ordered our burgers medium well and were cooked perfectly. Bar and table seating available.
We found this place very randomly and overall we were so happy with it.
The service wasn’t too good but they served us at the end. It might be because of rush hour time.
But for sure the quality and taste of foods covered the problems. 😁

Beers, Burgers, and atmosphere are top notch! Great local beer options and love the old school style TV's and movie cassettes.
Went friday night and while the food is typically great, it was unfortunately not this time. The burgers we got were both severely under-cooked. Aside from the food, the service was great and they were able to accommodate our big party which was a bonus! Assuming it was a one-off regarding the burgers. The gator bites were great as usual!
We came for a dinner with a friend who wanted something "American" so we decided burgers. Lokal has some of the best, we choose the "Frita by Kush" and "The Lokal", it was a great decision, my friend loved the guava and the other enjoyed the actual burger.
We also ordered the "Florida Alligator Strips", we totally recommend it, my friend loved them.
The service was a little slow to sit us, take the order, bring the utensils and the check. Maybe because it was Jan 2nd but the food and atmosphere totally compensated it.

This is the best burger spot in Miami, no contest. The group has multiple locations (Brickell, Wynwood and Coconut Grove with slight variations in the menu). Coconut grove is by far the best spot and we always come back for more, don’t think twice. For first timers must try are the Frita and Alligator bites as an appetizer.
Part of the Kush family of restaurants, LoKal hit every bulletin point. The Cubano was prepared with smoked pulled pork and was one of, if not THE best, Cuban sandwiches I've ever had. Great atmosphere and some euphoric twists are sure to leave both your mind and your stomach elevated!
We had the tuna, burger, alligator bites and grilled cheese with tomato soup. All of these dishes were excellent. The grilled cheese stole the show, it was amazing. The gator bites were also excellent. The staff were nice and friendly. They have great seating both indoors and out. They are also dog friendly and have great outdoor seating for them as well as free dog biscuits.
What isn't there to like? Great handcrafted, locally sourced food, a variety of cocktails, wines and locally crafted beers, a cozy, welcoming, chill atmosphere with a super friendly staff and all of the included at a fair price. This is a must at any time of day for those looking for a great restaurant in the Miami area.
