My wife and I have been coming to this place for years and we absolutely love it here, it’s not just a place to eat it’s like our home away from home, they really treat you like family here and they remember you to the point that they know what you order every time!! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
So I had heard and seen many reviews about this place and decided to make the drive down for my hubbys birthday brunch, and oh boy was it worth it! The food and service was amazing. We will definitely be coming back!!!!! Btw the fried bread pudding is absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!! I definitely recommend crackers to anyone and everyone!!!!!!!!!!
My favorite restaurant in town. They have the best tasting southern food by far. We come every other weekend for brunch and occasionally do dinner but since they changed their times we mostly do brunch. The food is DELICIOUS and the Ambience is very relaxing ,they updated their outside area and it looks nice. It just has this home feel vibe we’re we always feel welcomed. Favorite waiter by far is gus, super attentive and friendly and always ready to please. I love to come here and love love love their food, never met the chef but he is AMAZING!
We were recommended this spot for breakfast, the service was great, the food was good too, I definitely recommend the fried biscuits. It had a honey butter that was delicious! The avocado toast was fresh. The green tomatoes were crunchy and fresh. I would say this place is 6/10. I would recommend to try it, limited menu but good for brunch
This location is like a hidden gem. It's a very old style place and the decor is not like mind blowing but the food was super good. You can literally drive right by it if it wasn't for the GPS. There's no parking lot just side parking along the restaurant or along the canal. Gordon Ramsay would say 'you need a sign mate' lol. They have indoor and outdoor sitting. The indoor is very small.
The food was really good. We were a party of 6 two of us ordered the chicken and waffle. My boyfriend had the hog, my cousin had the caption crunch French toast. My other two cousins had the fried chicken benedict and the brisket hash. All the food was amazing. My waffles I'm not sure if they were homemade or frozen and I wasn't a fan of the candy bacon, it was different but too much black peppers. You do have to try the fried bread pudding that alone was worth the visit. Omg that thing was so good.
Overall I did enjoy my visit. I would definitely come back but have something different. I did want to try there homemade potato. And our total for 6 people with two mimosas and one beer the total was 125 without tip.
Food was tasty. We had Mac and cheese bites, fruitty pebbles coated French toast, fried green tomatoes, chicken and waffles, and shrimp and grits. Prices were reasonable, every dish was well executed- crispy chicken, French toast and waffles. The waffles was sweet. The grits were a bit too creamy for my taste but flavor was good. Restaurant had a nice patio seating area and a garden
The food was amazing. Everything i ordered was delicious. One of the best chicken and waffles I’ve had. I will be back to try more things.
After having had some *not so great* experiences with dining in Northern Florida I was hesitant to try something in Miami. I’m glad I let my hunger get the better of me because WOW! The fried biscuits are a must- they come with some cinnamon honey butter. I forgot to get pictures of our food, but we had the fried chicken and avocado bacon burger. Both were amazing. PLUS, we had the best server (if you go ask for Anthony, he gave us all the right suggestions). When we come back to the area I will be pleased to return.
Wow!!! That would about sum it up. The food was absolutely delicious and service was great. This cute little place is definitely a must do again.
