East Ocean Chinese Restaurant

It's not authentic Chinese food they substitute and add peas and carrots in there shrimp and lobster sauce the and doesn't make you aware of it on the menu. then when you ask them why so why there's no onions in the rice. Next time I should order something like a chop suey. They apologized and didn't offer to remake the food. Rice was horrible steal old. but service was good. the food is terrible and the price is expensive

Im reading other 1 star reviews and these people are crazy. 😂 some of the complaints are really petty. Anyways... i order from here like twice a week. Never had diarrhea. Maybe these people should see a doctor. I always order the same stuff and ive never had a problem. Fried rice, low mane, chicken wings, egg rolls. Always good. Only reason i came to review is because i just opened my fortune cookie and there was no fortune inside of it. 🙄 whats up with that. Yall owe me a fortune.

Honestly I really want to give a good review because I like the staff, but the food is a serious problem. I literally can never avoid a stomach ache whenever I eat anything from here aside from the vegetable fried rice. A couple of times some of the vegetables tasted spoiled and I had spit it out. I feel like before corona they were way better, it’s gone far downhill unfortunately.

Terrible Chinese food. Really weird artificial taste in both the general Tao’s sauce and the sesame chicken sauce. Everything had a weird red color to it like sweet and sour sauce. The udon noodles were horribly over cooked and didn’t come with carrots. The egg roles were over processed but edible and my Dad said the hot and sour soup was the best of a bad showing but I thought it had a oddly thick texture to it. I feel ripped off on a $50 meal, all the meals just had 2 bites taken out of it. On the plus side service was good and meal was warm. Just never ordering from here again.

Ordered for delivery. Eating it right now and it's soooooo good that I had to leave a review lo! Or maybe I'm just that hungry. The sesame chicken is bomb. It's delicious chicken breast with the sauce. Definitely recommend! And they gave me fortune cookies! Got super happy about that lol. Much better than my local chinese food spot back home in NYC
