Some dishes were excellent, like the Glazed Prawns with Walnuts, Beijing Duck, MA Mignon; others were simply okay. The place was packed (as expected). Waitstaff was obsequious, but largely mediocre. The experience was certainly worth doing once. The only true criticism one could offer, though, was that the enormous floral arrangements throughout the dining room were filled with a particularly fragrant, cloying variety of lily. What is the purpose of serving a palate cleanser between courses with such an overpowering and distracting scent ever-present throughout the meal? For allergy sufferers especially, it was kind of a deal-breaker.

Horrendous. So overpriced for very basic tasteless food. The dessert was worse than an off-the-shelf basic supermarket brand. They insist on an odd set menu which doesn’t work if you have a mix of vegetarians and meat-eaters. The restaurant decor is lovely, but there are way too many staff loitering around and demanding huge tips. Don’t waste your money.

I would like to start off by saying the restaurant and the setting was extremely beautiful. Great hospitality and customer service. Those aspects were much appreciated. The seafood sautéed rice was delicious, great fluffy feel. Perfectly made. The music selection was nice and diversed. From Kompa to reggaeton to American pop. Loved it. As for the lobster a bit disappointed in it, wish they didn’t fry and bread the outside of the lobster shell, made it more difficult to get to the meat. The duck mignon, was alright. I was not a big fan. The hot sauce was delicious. The prawns, I know prawns to be way bigger, but it was delicious. I believe the walnuts were unnecessary. The chow mein definitely needed more flavor and salt, it was very bland in taste. Could’ve been made better. The mousse for dessert was nice and fluffy. I know the menu and prices were completely changed due to the fact that it was Valentine’s night. Handing me roses as I exited the restaurant was a sweet gesture. Overall, the pricing did not match the taste but more so the environment it was in. Could’ve been better, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone I know and it was my first time visiting. It definitely will be my last.

Like many of the other reviews, the ambiance and service were both great. However, the quality of the food doesn’t come anywhere near justifying the exorbitant prices. Most of what we got was average at best. I will say that the dumplings were very good. The crispy beef was wayyyy overdone and not good. Everything else we had was just average. There are way better dining options in Miami Beach.

My bestie took me for my birthday To Mr. Chow and were amazed at not only the quality of food, but also the service. We had the Duck and wide selection of dessert. This is easily one of, if not the best meal we’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment!

I won't waste your time. Not the type to take food pictures so sorry about that. Service: 6/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Food: 2/5 I wasn't the one to pay but for a party of 5 and a glimpse I got of the check it came out to ~$800 by ordering: 6 drinks 4 appetizers 5 main dishes 2 desserts 3 coffees Okay now I'll waste your time. Service: Everyone greets you when you first enter, helps to seat you, and lays the napkin in your lap. You need a new fork? It's there. You finished your water? It's refilled in seconds. Looking at a menu? Okay they gave us 2 for a party of 5 so maybe not everything can be perfect, but still they were top notch Ambiance: light level was perfectly balanced and there was a fresh floral aroma wafting throughout the restaurant. The wait staff wore different attire so it was easy to flag down a server to a busser to an assistant. Seating at the tables is pretty trash given the small wooden chairs. Food: As mentioned earlier, they only gave us 2 menus for our party of 5 and their drink menu only contained cocktails, no individual spirits. The appetizers were better than the main course, but even then that's not saying alot. The prawns are the size of small shrimp, the duck tasted just like chicken, the scallion pancake was actually a donut, and the drunken fish tasted like....chicken somehow? Be mindful of how much you order because the table we were at struggled to fit more than 4 ordered plates at a time. But there were several positives. The glazed prawns, soup dumplings, squid noodles, drunken fish (yeah I know), and chocolate mousse cake were all quite good. Overall really cool to go there once but going any more than that makes negative sense for the quality of the food.

I made a last minute reservation last night and gotta say that almost everything was amazing. Only thing I didn’t like was the brown rice with mushrooms, but everything else was amazing. dumplings were not my favorite. My favorite was the duck, of course! The dessert was amazing! Really liked it and will be back. Some photos below!

The food was just okay. Nothing special. If you're all about people watching, then this is the place to go. If you plan on coming with a group of people to have a discussion, forget it. The volume of the music was around 75 to 80 decibels (this was tested) and could barely hear the person next to me.
