Lotsa Balls!

Sicilian Meatballs with Spaghetti was amazing, could easily feed 2-3 people. The sandwiches are fairly large and great value and it comes with fries, which although the pictures do show I don't think it's mentioned on any online ordering platform or delivery service. 10/10 would recommend, the quality doesn't not diminish when taking out either. Order in person or on the phone instead of using apps so they get the full profits, unless you truly need delivery

Portions are huge, yet affordable, and food is delicious! The staff here are wonderful. This man that I assume to be either the manager or owner, was super friendly. I saw him chatting up an elderly man (that was dining alone) about the baseball game that was on tv, he also comes around to check on how you’re enjoying the food, and also thanks you for your business when you’re stepping out the door — is it just me or is that kind of rate service these days?? It’s also nice to see local college / high school kid working here, they’re really nice and attentive. Pictures are half portions by the way. The server kindly asked if my husband and I are sharing the salad and spaghetti. I was pleasantly surprised that they split it into separate plates. I don’t think any restaurant has done this for me before. Swoon!!!!!

I love Italian food and couldn't wait to give this place a try. I made reservations for 6pm. I walked in and the nice young lady walked me to my table. The place is laid back and has very young servers. It took a while for Deanna our server to come over. She was a young lady and you can tell but its good this restaurant gives these young people an opportunity. This spot is byob so they had one of the older servers open the wine for me. For our entrées I ordered the chicken and spinach meatballs combo and my friend ordered the crab meatball combo. When the food came out it was a good serving size. We both dug in and boy was the food good. I finished everything 😌. Towards the end of our meal the manager, Anthony, came over and spoke to us. He is a young man that was very nice and listened to us. I definitely appreciate that and I will definitely come back to try more.

Come hungry and eat it all! First off the restaurant decor is very cool and there’s something to look at everywhere. I went with a group of 3 and we didn’t make reservations but we got a table no problem. If you want a seat outside when it’s nice or have a larger group I’d suggest making a reservation. Everyone got their own dishes and we split one of the salads. If you love goat cheese, I highly suggest ordering the Goat Cheese Salad, it’s absolutely delicious! We ordered the veggie risotto balls which had a nice tangy taste and they were not dry, which was a concern. We had the buffalo chicken balls and the traditional and everything was fantastic! Food was amazing and service was great. It’s BYOB which is always a plus! I definitely recommending eating at Lotsa Balls if you’re in Metuchen.

Such a cool place! Our server was awesome and we got to sit outside on such a pretty day! Drink menu offers some sodas and teas, but remains BYOB for now. We ordered the traditional meatballs as a “first base” which is 6 mini balls, and they were delicious! Another first base we tried were the buffalo blue cheese which were literally OOZING with blue cheese and so so soooo good. For the main course we got the three large crab cake balls which had such a nice flavor! With only two people, we had leftovers for the next day - but prices are not bad at all and we look forward to visiting again soon to try different balls! Great job, Lotsa Balls! 👍🏻

The owner put in a lot of work on the interior design and the quality of the food. Wonderful, outstanding restaurant. Surprised there isn’t a line out the door. I HIGHLY recommend coming in and trying the mix & match meatballs. This place is worth the drive, you won’t be disappointed. Also, try their milkshakes. Better than any shake I’ve had in years.........
