Great trout and hamburgers but the Italian salad is delish. Stuff crabs n potato salad but most of a menu that is large enough to serve many taste of a group. Great service with a smile.

Memory lane. Tessie's brings you back to when things were simpler and slower. The food won't blow your mind, but it'll remind you of what you ate in the 60s and 70s. It's plentiful and cheap.

Went for Fri lunch crowded but comfortable. Discovered a special of a bowl of gumbo w/sandwich on side.The chicken salad was delicous& I did $1upgrade to get seafood gumbo.it was great w/dark roux soup loaded w/shrimp.O f course we started w/french fried onionrings, some of the best in the city. This lunch combo is less than $10.GOOD FOOD&GOOD PRICES.We enjoyed having Jennifer wait on us.She cannot do enough to assure a pleasant visit.

Nice friendly staff at this restaurant. We ordered drinks, of course, appetizers and the main dish. There were four of us. It took longer than normal for us to get our food. This did not bother us since we were able to just have a long conversation in the meantime. Once the food was out it was a very wonderful experience. I personally had and enjoyed the Alfredo noodles and shrimp.

I hadnt been there in years to eat.untill the other day for lunch.the quality of the food and service hasnt changed. Good service. Homade salad dressings.I always get the fryed chicken dinner which wasold school very good.they cook it when you order it.so its hotnfresh
