We ordered a baptism cake (top tier was a naked cake and bottom tier was a smooth finish in buttercream to mimic fondant) and it came out exactly like the picture we sent Jenny. It was also very well supported. Not to mention it was one of the best tasting cakes we’ve had. The chocolate cake with Oreo filling was super delicious!! Jenny was great to work with and we totally will be back for future orders. Very pleased and compared to other Nola area bakeries it’s the best all around in terms of looks, taste, and price!

Jenny was an absolute pleasure to work with!!! She was easy to communicate with and made sure our vision for our wedding came to life. Our bride's cake was absolutely beautiful and soooo delicious. The groom's cake was incredible. She did a beautiful job at depicting the Albanian flag. We were so incredibly impressed. Not only were our cakes breathtaking, they tasted so wonderful. I love this bakery! Jenny and her staff were all so nice and easy to work with. Jenny did an amazing job taking my ideas for a cake and bringing them together to create a beautiful engagement cake for my son & future daughter in law. The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious.

The Sweet Life Bakery was everything I wanted and didn’t think existed.
The most important thing you need to know is — I’m not a huge sweets fan (one bite and I’m good)… I ate all of the samples myself and I may have snarled at my fiancé when he got close to them after his one bite of each. All of the other bakery samples I tried were fine but didn’t come close. Easiest decision I made for the entire wedding was choosing The Sweet Life Bakery.
We wanted a light, fruit flavored cake for our wedding — lemon raspberry in some format with Swiss meringue buttercream (SMB) was our hope. You’d think that wouldn’t be a huge ask these days. However, The Sweet Life Bakery was the only bakery that really had the variety of fruit options we wanted (that wasn’t white cake with a fruit jam) AND prepared tasting samples for us to try without any pushback or a crazy high up charge (very reasonable). Cake samples included blueberry, lemon, vanilla and almond. SMB samples included lemon, raspberry, vanilla and blueberry.
They make beautiful cake designs but I was on tight budget for a 90 person wedding and wanted to have a surprise groom’s cake, so I went with a plain white wedding cake. It was still gorgeous! The groom’s cake of our Yorkie was hysterically perfect! I emphasized that she has big ears and they nailed it all! The fondant on the groom’s cake was the perfect thickness and not too sweet so it was just as delicious as the wedding cake.

Grooms’s cake: Vanilla cake with blueberry SMB layers and fondant

This is the second cake I have bought from the Sweet life. They made an adorable pony cake for my daughters 5th birthday. Both times the friendly people at The Sweet Life were kind, informative, and super accommodating. Not only are the cakes gorgeous but they taste amazing as well. Great job guys! They are the only place I will use for cakes!

They did such an AMAZING job on the wedding cake! It looked just like the photo of the one I wanted! They were super accommodating and did everything super professionally. Everyone loved the look and taste of everything- and I still get people talking about their cake and macaroons! Thank you again for all your hard work!

This is the absolute best bakery ever. They took my order kinda last minute and made it look better than we ever imagined. Also it was the best tasting cake ever. We have found our forever bakery. Thank you for helping make my son's first birthday special and memorable!
Haven't eaten the birthday cake yet but it came out beautifully! There's a nice selection of tasty sweets and ice cream and the customer service was excellent!
