Rocky's Pizza And Cheesesteak

One of the best pizza I've ever had! The owner/pizza master is so passionate about pizza and he puts in so much care into his ingredients and recipe. I typically get bloated from eating gluten and dairy but didn't have any of that from his pizza. He sources everything locally which I love! The store looks closed from the outside but when you go in you can see so many tapestries on the wall and tells you so many stories of the owner's life and journey or learning how to create his pizza.

So I was googling an authentic pizza place and this search came up. I walked into the little restaurant which was very small but very welcoming. The guy was very friendly behind the counter. I ordered a Supreme pizza TO GO. When I arrived home about 30mins later the pizza was not soggy, was still very hot and tasted AMAZING!! I HIGHLY suggest this place for any pizza lovers. I will be coming back for sure to try other menu items.

This was the best New York Style Pizza I’ve ever had. Even better than in New York. The crust was thin and crispy and it was covered in thick mozzarella cheese with a high moisture content. Under the cheese every square inch had pepperoni. The sauce was a little sweet, just the way I like it. It was $11 for a slice which I initially thought was expensive, however, the slice was huge. I’m a big eater and was hungry. I finished the slice but I’d bet most people could split it. Inside is small. There’s only a few tables. There are also tables outside. This isn’t really a sit down restaurant. More of a lunch counter where you can get takeout. The pizza didn’t come out fast but it’s because it’s not sitting in there under a heat lamp like Sbarro. Expect to wait about 10 minutes for a slice. I looked at other diners’ food and one person had a huge tray of wings. They looked amazing. Next time I may try them.

Yummy! Tried this for the first time tonight.. I was honestly impressed with the friendly customer service, the quality of pizza. The wings were made hot and they definitely are crispy. The ranch has really good flavor! Personally I prefer a thinner ranch, but this ranch had great flavor so I was okay with it being a little thicker. If you’re thinking about trying this place, I say go for it!

This place is cute and cozy, it was our first time there but I found the chill atmosphere comforting, especially the two dudes working there! They were really friendly. We went at like around 8pm or something? So that probably added to the chill vibe lol. They have an erray of hot sauces and vinegar you can freely choose from, which was cool. We ordered a XL cheese pizza and the 13" MeatZa for my boyfriend, which all together ended up being around $25 per person but it was worth it! We both agree that our pizzas were handled with care and taste like as a home pizza would. (Not that I ever got to hand make a pizza yet but if we did I'm assuming it would probably taste close to this albeit not as good as this but lol.) ANYways the meats on his pizza were sooo good, especially the bacon! I don't usually like bacon but I would definitely eat that bacon again. My cheese was thinner than other pizza places BUT it was a thin pizza AND it made me feel good inside and not all ucky, like I feel full but the good kind of full. We had left overs too which is awsome in case we get hungry again later tonight or in the morning. I'm saying this because we had just woken up and were pretty hungry but this pizza fills you up in the good way! A "little bit" expensive if you're penny pinching or on a budget, but if you think about it all pizza places usually have that same price, so if you have some extra money and want a pizza definitely try this little place out. We don't have any friends so best I can do is leave a review because we really enjoyed our sit down and eat experience there. We definitely will come back and try a few other things other than pizza. I only have one singular small gripe about my pizza, which is that the edges were burnt just a little, but that's such a small thing and my boyfriend actually liked it lol. So if you're thinking about it, go ahead and try it out!
