When this place opened years ago it was amazing. The food is not quite as good, but it is decent and a great selection. On the weekends they have some pretty good seafood also. One thing I noticed at the end of business on Saturday evening was that they did a fabulous job cleaning the place. It looked like they got every nook and cranny in the dining room. That says a lot to me. It is my go to Chinese buffet.
Why I love this place. My wife and I go here often. It is simply a good place to get a quick cheap meal when you are starving after work and don't feel like cooking. We are regulars and know how the place works so we can handle the bad service. We know which items we like and hit them hard. It is what it is. No lines, Never have to wait. We seat ourselves. Definately not for the snobby diner.
This is our favorite restaurant to go for date night. It is a family owned restaurant, the staff is friendly and the food is great, with great prices. It's located in historic downtown mesa in the old swensons restaurant. It has been a Chinese restaurant for years but has changed hands several times. It reminds me of my grandmother every time I go, this was her favorite restaurant, one of the few that she loved that is still around.
First and far most.. Too all the people that say its bad place too eat and bad service.. You all are picky eaters and are asking too much of a small Chinese buffet.. You get what you pay for, not only that the people are amazing g we are regulars here we now the staff very friendly people.. I don't think k any of the food is over cooked it or as one post I read JERKYISH... HAHAHA that was funny. Hate when people. Complain about selfishness stuff.. Who gets headaches eating food? carpeting may be dirty but your not there eat the carpet or ask too sit on the carpet flooring?? If so too all that post it being bad service, "SPOILED" PEOPLE YOU ARE, CRYING AROUND ABOUT NOT BEING SATISFIED.. ANYWAYS, food is good crab is good all of it is good..going there today when it opens sounds good too me. GEAH!!!

ok...these other people reviewing are retarded....take a look around before you walk in...it's in a little ghetto area of mesa...u get what you pay for...
I have been going here for years...it's not the best food and certainly not the best service but it is only 7.75 for lunch...that's after tax and including a drink...
I know for a fact they cook with fresh ingredients because I work close and always see them going into the smart and final on a daily basis with shipping carts full of food...
the only reason they don't get five stars is because so many of their main courses are similar adding or subtracting a few different vegetables and most of customers allow their children to run around like it's playground and the waitresses usually do nothing about it
other than that you def get exactly what you pay for and can leave full and satisfied if you know what to expect before walking in...just keep in mind where it's located, their customer base and don't expect a $15 dollar buffet for under $8 and you will be happy

My family and I love this place. Its the only chinese buffet we go to. The veggie rolls are amazing and the staff is great. Its inexpensive and I would recommend this place to everyone
The food is excellent. You have a wide variety to choose from. It's definitely worth the money to eat all you want.
