This is an interesting little brand new restaurant that has very, very good food despite some apparent early growing pains. The bruschetta, which comes in 4 varieties, including the classic and salami and pesto that we had, is among the best I've ever had. The clam chowder was different and filled with huge bits of clam. And the lamb burger was the best premium burger I've had in a while.
It was a little slow overall, from getting seated, to getting served, to getting our food, but not enough to prevent a return visit especially considering the place had been open for just about a week so we'll forgive a few kinks in the works... this time.
Service was friendly throughout. The prices were reasonable to slightly high but the food quality justifies it. We look forward to our next visit when I'd expect the works to run a bit more efficiently, and the food to be every bit as good.
The food was tasty! Customer service was superb, on the pricier side so make sure you take enough money. The first two photos is Portuguese shrimp with rice, next is a pork belly burger followed by a lollipop chicken appetizer which was new on the menu and overall my least favorite.
Don't let the exterior deter you. This place is great and has incredible, creative food. Their was 4 of us that came here and we literally ordered a little of everything. The duck confee and apple bruschetta will send your taste buds on an amazing journey. The ahi tuna tacos have a light, fresh flavor amd the burgers......oh my! Don't forget to have the Barkley's peanut butter cup porter. Great place, will definitely be back.
Excellent food! The chef and bar staff could not have been any more helpful than they were. Great experience.
Had the rabbit for dinner. Never would I ever think of trying rabbit, but it was quite tasty and spicy; I recommend it.
A unique menu, and a nice selection of beers on tap as well.

Great sized burger nice flavor & cooked just the way I like but the fries were super greasy I will get the salad next time. I will be back for the Lobster roll!!
I talked my wife into trying this place and she said It looked bad from the outside. I knew this place just changed ownership and knew it would be nice. Just what I expected, clean interior. I liked the beer line up, well rounded. Food was great! Had jalapeno poppers and the lobster mac in cheese. Reggae played softly gave off a positive vibe. Prices were a tad high. All in all, I liked this place and hope they do well.
Sean the bartender was great! Made the dining experience even better! Food was perfect! Kale Caesar, porkbelly tacos were great starters. Hard to find game on a menu, and this place has pheasant and rabbit, both were cooked perfectly and delicious! They had a lobster roll that was rich and life changing. I will be back to finish the menu. Great taps, great tequila selection, and whiskey. Any man that doesn't have a fantastic time here probably wears a romper, or has a bun on his head. Fact
I enjoyed my night with friends after class. The food and environment is great. We tried appetizers 10/10, dinner 9/10, AND desserts 9/10. They also had a nice selection of red / white wine along with a menu of local (Arizona) brewery's.
It's one of those places you want to come back to and try something new each time.
A cute little place. When we went it was very quiet, but our waitress was very attentive, and was more than happy to get us different things we asked for. The food was 10/10, everything tasted fresh. Only issue was the butter was on the heavy side on the toast of the lobster roll. Everything was nice, including the room we ate in, would recommend
Awesome find. I was in Mesa visiting a friend and she suggested we grab a bite here. Very good local beer selection. Menu was eclectic and different. I opted for a steak and she had a salad. Both were prepared exceptionally well. Service was friendly and attentive. Can't think of anything negative to say.
