Cups And Cakes

We stopped by to get a few cupcakes. We were immediately greeted by a friendly employee who gave us a complimentary shortcake cookie. It was so beautiful, I wish I took a picture! The cookie was so light and buttery, I highly recommend them! We each picked out a cupcake and 2 chocolate croissants. The gentleman didn't charge me for 2 of the cupcakes or the croissants because kids eat free. We'll definitely be returning for more cookies and cupcakes!

My husband and I absolutely love this bakery. The aesthetics, the staff, the baked good, they are all so wonderful. We had a birthday cake custom for my birthday, and we all love it so much that we wanted them to do my husband's 30th birthday cake! The theme was death to his 20s for his birthday and it turned out so much better than I imagined! In the pictures, it did melted a little during transportation since the frosting was whip cream based (requested from the husband), but I promise it looked better! The cake was a huge hit! My personal favorite of their baked goods is the strawberry tart. Every time I finish one, all I think about was eating another one, haha!! We will always come back. Not only are the folks who work here incredibly sweet and kind, they make such amazing cakes and treats. I asked for a cake with a frosting flavor they didn't list and gave them complete creative freedom. Best decision I ever made. The cake was stunning and delicious, I imagine there will be many return trips here in my future! They took my birthday theme of 'murder mystery' and created something beautiful! Hand sculpted weapons and such an attention to detail... I loved it! I highly recommend them for any occasion!

I love bakeries, but I can't remember the last time I was actually surprised by what I found inside. Don't get me wrong, you'll find what you expect here, treats baked daily on-premise - but done with expertise and a spirit of adventure that I can't remember seeing in a bakery before. I have a standing rule that when I go somewhere for the first time, I ask them what they do best - their signature offering. That way I know that if what I get isnt great, everything else must be even worse. They told me they are known for their shortbread cookies and I thought "huh, isn't that the equivalent of an ice cream shop telling you that their vanilla is the best?" And then they showed me their case of perfect works of art flavored with "lavender" and "orange blossom" and "datura". Being a fan of near and far Eastern cuisine, I knew that this was either going to be amazing or taste like soap. And it was AMAZING. Cupcakes? Sure, but it's not "chocolate" but "black magic chocolate" worthy of the name. Lemon? No, "lemoncello". And it tastes like it. No matter the flavor the cake is so moist and topped with buttercream that makes you feel like you are indulging in something really special and should savor each bite. Don't believe me, check my pictures. I could go on and on... Tarts? Like a dream. Scones? They are almost too good to put them in the same category as any other dry and tasteless thing bearing the same name. Dinner rolls? I had these for Father's day next to my steak and the moist yeastiness was perfect. Baguettes? Surely they can't be... Yep the crust "speaks" (those that know, KNOW) and the crumb is flavorful and soft. Cinnamon rolls too? Heck yeah! But the best part is that every time I go in they surprise me with something new. When did a bakery do that for you?

Bought half a dozen cupcakes for co-workers and everyone who tried one had zero complaints! Should have bought some cookies as they have a good assortment of those as well! Since it was my first time there they gave me a free tart to try and they had a whole bunch of options to choose from.
