Tilapia was bad tasting, potatoes & gravy was decent, steamed carrots were yummy, macaroni and cheese was good, salad is salad but nonetheless yummy, steak was cheap and very fatty but was seasoned well and cooked to order. Vince was a fantastic server. He went out of his way to put in our order of steaks, bring it out to us & still had the time to clean half of the entire restaurant. Very good service. Desert was the highlight of the night. Had very many options to choose from.
Never had a problem at either locations Stapley or Southern. New waitress at Stapley was cheerful and fast. My Mom is 85 and very picky and I take her there once a week for the cornbread. Being there so often I'm not sure what the other whiners are complaining about but they seem a bit like fantasy.
As far as buffets go, this one is pretty nice. It is a little quieter and rmore elaxing than the other horse traugh, or coral, just down the street. People were nice here, and the food was good. Fairly descent selection too. The price was ok, but not super impressive. It could be a little less I think. Overall it is a pretty good buffet.
I would of graded an excellent... But the corn & roast beef was cry...waffle fries had no flavor... Chicken tenders were cold...
Much better variety than the Golden corral. And it's always quiet and comfortable , And you can actually hear each other talk
Best steak ever! If you're lucky enough to visit when Youcef is on duty, ask him to make your steak, you'll be glad you did.
Service is good. Not dirty. Food is decent. Pricing is alright. Not crowded.
