First time here. Had a tripa burrito and it was really good. We dined in but should of got it to go. The dining area was a bit run down, kinda old and had a funny smell plus one too many flies. The staff was friendly. The salsa was a bit runny. Don’t get me wrong, the food, horchata and even the salsa was tasty.
This place is a hidden gem! Insanely delicious and an authentic homemade Mexican food in the Mesa area. The tortillas and many other items are made from scratch. We tried the carne asada quesadilla and the Mexicana torta. Highly recommend both!
The food is really delicious and my favorites are the cabeza and nachos. Just make sure you have a lot of time to wait. I like freshly cooked, but it is not fast food. So there’s always a wait for the food. So just consider that. Maybe order ahead of time?
