1) Add name tags so we know who we are talking to. It makes the experience more personable, and allows me to say “Thank you David” in person instead of having to ask someone what that person’s name is. 2) Continue to have plenty of staff on hand (like today) so that customers aren’t waiting and staff aren’t get frustrated.
Today was the best experience I’ve had at Cafe Rio in months. All my food was correct, everything was cooked well, the staff was friendly, there was enough staff to help, and my special orders were listened to. Gabriella, David, and manager Caesar (who I was told was from corporate) were all very helpful and attentive. I felt like I mattered as a customer when I don’t always at this location. My sides of shrimp were normally 6 shrimp, but Caesar gave me 9. My order has consistently been wrong at this location, but today they actually listened and included my entire order in the bag. David was on the front line and helped me most of the way, and he seemed genuinely wanting to help and fulfill my order instead of past experiences where the employee (and even a manager) seemed put out by my requests. Over the last three to four months, I’ve had to call customer service about 5 separate times because something was wrong with my meal (and I mean an entire entree was incorrect with the meat or add-one or when getting to-go an entire entree was forgotten). Since customer service always fixed my issues, I haven’t left bad reviews. Today was an A++ experience, and if this was the new normal, I’d visit more and recommend others do as well, both through reviews and word-of-mouth.
Today there was 2 managers there. One was a master trainer and the other was a manager. I was greeted and the food was fresh. The master trainer asked how I was doing and was very professional. This location has suffered for years ever since it was established here in Skye Canyon, but today it was pleasant experience.
It’s been almost 6 months since my last visit, mainly due to previous experiences that left me unimpressed with the service. However, I decided to give it another shot and I’m glad I did. It’s evident that positive changes have been implemented, resulting in a much improved experience. I’ll definitely be returning a lot sooner this time around!
Service here is awesome - they somehow remember my order even though I swear I don’t come THAT often. And, they are friendly and quick. The food is delicious and consistent. Great lunch spot!

Every single time we order online from this location, they get our food wrong somehow. But sometimes they get it wrong in a good way and we get extra stuff. I guess the joke's on us since we keep ordering from them lol. But they're very friendly and always on time for pick-up!

It was my first time at a Cafe Rio and I was impressed. Absolutely delicious burrito with Sweet Pork Barbacoa. Plus, the queso is really good.
