Started from a food truck to now being one of the best in the valley. Known for tne fresh handmade corn tortillas. Order an authentic corn taco or a vampiro style, which is a toasted corn tortilla with cheese and / or meat. The mulitas are a favorite. These are two crunchy corn tortillas with meat and cheese in between. Dont judge this restaurant by its simplicity in decor. The food is delicious. Definitely recommend this taqueria if you're looking for authentic Mexican food. Follow me on IG @igooglereviewyou
Love this little place!! I've had I think all there different tacos and I think I like there carne asada the best. All of them are very good!
These guys started out as a food truck and have been growing from there. These guys have authentic Mexican Tacos! They are not Arizona influenced Tacos. They are legit!
I grew up going to Mexico to eat tacos in Tijuana, and I must say that these are very authentic Tijuana style street tacos. The first time I tried these tacos, it immediately brought back memories of the flavors and experience of eating my first street tacos in Tijuana. Every time I’ve been here the place is busy. My favorite thing here is probably there Vampiros. A vampiro is a tostada shell with some cheese melted on it, and then taco meat placed on top of it with onions, cilantro and salsa on top. It taste like a good street taco with some crunch in it. So good! You might want to also try another Tijuana favorite here, the Mulita. It’s a street taco turned into a sandwich. Carne Asada or al Pastor, melted cheese, onions, cilantro, and salsa between two corn tortillas. Also, very good and very filling! Their quesadillas are also very tasty here. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
Some of my favorite items are:
Carne Asada or Al Pastor Vampiro ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Carne Asada street taco ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Al Pastor street taco ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Carne Asada or Al Pastor Mulita ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My guide on how I use the 5 star system:
⭐️ = Not good
⭐️⭐️ = Not terrible, but would not get again
⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Solid, but I’d try something else before this again
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Really liked it! You should try this
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Loved it! Must try
I’ll make adjustments to my ratings after subsequent visits. If you see a .3 or .7 it means:
.3 = Wasn’t as good the 2nd or last time I tried it
.7 = This was better the 2nd or last time I tried it.
First time ever to Taco Tijuana & we'll definitely be back from now on. The tacos here were so delicious!!! Pork & steak tacos with hot or mild sauces were the perfect combination. Of course I had to have 2 Coronas with my tacos & that was the icing on the cake. The customer service was top notch, quick service & fresh delicious food. Stop by 1 of the valley's locations & you will not regret it.
The best tacos in our area hands down. The tortillas are home made, the Al pastor is cooked on the trompo, and the price per taco is reasonable. We went on a Saturday to order to go, our order was taken right away, the staff was friendly and attentive. There is an extended wait time after placing your order but it’s due to the tacos made to order. You can see the chefs hand making the tortillas, slicing the Al pastor finishing up on the grill to get that char flavor, and then preparing them with their guacamole salsa. The hot salsa is absolutely delicious and complements the taco. However it is HOT so beware. Definitely one of our favorite places in town for tacos, worth the wait!
This place was amazing! Not many options, but it was so good! As soon as we ordered our tacos, they made our corn tortillas immediately on the grill homemade. We loved this place! Very nice people too! Can’t wait to come back again!
Usually we grab 4 asadas and 4 Al pastor with a mulita. Today I only wanted an asada and 2 Al pastor with an horchata drink. They serve the best horchata! Almost a chai vibe. My pregnant self fell in love with it today. It’s the perfect horchata!
The best tacos we have had so far in AZ. Cannot believe I never tried them before! The menu is simple, Hubby and I enjoyed!
So good we ate there for lunch and dinner. The tacos at dinner had a bit too much salt on them for my taste, but still delicious. We had both the Carne Asada and the Al Pastor. We also had the quesadillas. It's quite large. We asked for both meats combined and they were willing to do that for us. Nice combo. I would highly recommend trying Taco Tijuana out.
The tacos at Tacos Tijuana unlike a lot of other taco spots have some flavor! We got the corn and flour carne asada tacos and they hit the spot. I asked for the spicy hot sauce and it actually was spicy. This place is 5 stars for sure.
