Very chill atmosphere, low music, and good food. Staff has always been very nice and accommodating. Bar drinks are pretty good, beers are cold and food is hot!

The food were fantastic. Servers were good, but not great. They don't seem to be as enthusiastic as other Mexican restaurants'. The ambiance was okay. You have to be careful walking around as the floor was not even. You can easily get hurt. Overall it was a good experience. I'll recommend this place anytime because of its food.

I got a LOCAL FLAVOR deal for this restaurant. We didn't have high expectations, but were pleasantly surprised. The food was decent -- a solid 3.75 stars. I got the Tacos del Mar with white fish, and my hubby got the Mexican Flag plate. He thought the red sauce was really good. We both LOVED the fresh salsa -- it came out with warm chips, and we got a prompt refill by our server. We give the salsa and chips 4 stars. The service was great -- attentive and swift. The restaurant itself was exactly as I expected-- kind of old and tired, but it had a real authentic Mexican restaurant feel, so I didn't mind the old and tired, worn-out vibe -- after all, its apparently been around for decades. It had cool, nostalgic old photos all over the walls. Overall, we give it 4 stars. We came on a Saturday mid-afternoon. Glad we got the Local Flavor deal.
