Very chill atmosphere, low music, and good food. Staff has always been very nice and accommodating. Bar drinks are pretty good, beers are cold and food is hot!
The food were fantastic. Servers were good, but not great. They don't seem to be as enthusiastic as other Mexican restaurants'. The ambiance was okay. You have to be careful walking around as the floor was not even. You can easily get hurt. Overall it was a good experience. I'll recommend this place anytime because of its food.
I got a LOCAL FLAVOR deal for this restaurant. We didn't have high expectations, but were pleasantly surprised. The food was decent -- a solid 3.75 stars. I got the Tacos del Mar with white fish, and my hubby got the Mexican Flag plate. He thought the red sauce was really good. We both LOVED the fresh salsa -- it came out with warm chips, and we got a prompt refill by our server. We give the salsa and chips 4 stars. The service was great -- attentive and swift. The restaurant itself was exactly as I expected-- kind of old and tired, but it had a real authentic Mexican restaurant feel, so I didn't mind the old and tired, worn-out vibe -- after all, its apparently been around for decades. It had cool, nostalgic old photos all over the walls. Overall, we give it 4 stars. We came on a Saturday mid-afternoon. Glad we got the Local Flavor deal.

Rosita's is slowly becoming a new family favorite! I got the Mexican Flag plate with a fried egg on top and it was delicious, the plate comes with three different enchiladas with rice and refried beans
The other plate we ordered was a pork green chili burrito with rice and black beans, very good and very spicy! The fried ice cream we shared for dinner was great. We'll be back. Great service!
The food here was amazing, blew away my expectations. The service was just as incredible, really felt like part of the family. Prices are just a little higher than normal but it is more than made up for in the portion sizes and the quality of ingredients and love that goes into the food. Mexican flag plate was incredible. The carnitas street tacos were the biggest I've ever seen, and so delicious. Even the refried beans and salsa were some of the best I've had since moving to AZ. Would give 11/10 if I could. Should have taken pictures before we dug in...but just couldn't wait!
I had the stacked shredded beef enchiladas, the hubby had the carne asada picada... we also had their red menudo. never knew it came in white, always had red. Their fajitas are fantastic too. Service is always great.
I absolutely love Rosita's! I've been eating there for over 35 years. The food is always delicious, reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is so soothing. Definitely get a cheese crisp when you go!
This place is a gem. It's no wonder they've been here forever. The food was delicious.
The food was delicious. I ordered the carnitas plate, and I will be returning again. Salsa was not hot enough for my taste but good flavors.
