A unique little diner with good food and great service! I had the fried chicken. The portions were small but that was fine with me and left me with room for dessert! The prices are good and access is easy, especially if you are staying at the adjacent hotel.

The food & sauces are made in-house... the meat never frozen... the milkshakes are so thick. Such a nostalgic vibe to this diner. The decor, the music and the meals are 50's themed. Great value for your money. The diner was next door to the hotel I was staying at. I can't wait to return to Mesa, Arizona to eat here again!
The food is decent diner quality food. The breakfast sausage is delicious! Service is good but can feel a little rushed at times. That's understandable as they are trying to turn tables when it's busy. Cute 50's themed decor.
I've always liked eating at Five & Dine restaurants. Nana Dee's Diner has eluded me since I moved to Mesa. I finally have the opportunity to visit this establishment. They had so many different items to choose from! Took me a minute to figure out what I wanted!
This place was very nostalgic. Definitely have the feel of a 50s - 60s diner. It's been in the same spot here in Mesa for 29 years, and I barely tried it for the first time! I'm definitely going to surprise my mom and dad with this place!
First off coming in, super clean! Can tell they take pride in the restaurant. No fingerprints on the stainless steel, the floors were clean, tables were spotless. Manager and wife were super nice! Made everyone feel welcome.
Food was outstanding and very filling, huge portions! Will be back when we visit (hotel next door is recently refurbished). Great place!

Great retro diner. Had the fish fry and smothered chicken breast dinner along with 2 cokes. Everything had good flavor. Nice cold Cole slaw and good tartar sauce. Rich gravy over mashed potatoes. Very melty swiss cheese on the smothered chicken.
Was greeted at the door and seated by the hostess. Actually received more attention from the hostess than our server.
Will definitely stop in again, but I want to try breakfast next time.
What a great lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Stopped in before going shopping at the mall. Everyone in the family enjoyed their meal. California Benedict, Chili w/ 1/2 sandwich and chicken strips all delicious. Don't forget room for dessert cause the warmed up apple pie and brownie sundae hit the spot. Service was fast and super friendly. Interior very clean and overall not too busy so there was good separation (if you're wanting it).
Such a cute retro atmosphere with excellent, friendly and prompt service all around.
This is the perfect breakfast joint. A cute little classic style diner, attentive wait staff, and perhaps the best breakfast style potatoes I have ever had. I am not sure how they season those potatoes, but they are a must.
