Great place to stop in get a drink and order amazing food. The liquor selection is 2nd to none and Mike is very knowledgeable. Val's food is to die for. You will need to be patient and enjoy a drink or 2 at the bar because they make everything from scratch and that equates to taking their time. But the end results are great. If you don't have time to wait I highly recommend calling in Togo order. The broasted chicken is amazing. They have the best selection of booze

I mean this in the best possible way... If a hoarder collected beer, their house would look like The Beacon. Tiny space, massive selection. This place has beer options that surpass most big city liquor stores, including a few beers I haven't been able to find in Madison. Spend some time, browse the stacks, and come away with some excellent libations.

If you are looking for a particular craft beer or bottle of liquor, this is the place to go. Yes they serve food, yes they serve alcohol, but really they are the best stocked bar around. Mike knows everything about craft beers. Just tell him what you want, he'll have it, get it or help you fine something better you didn't know was out there. If you love craft beers, you're gonna love stopping here.
