El Norte Mexican Restaurant

The restaurant itself appeared to very clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. The complimentary chips and Salsa was good, Although it wasn't the best salsa I have had, however every chain makes theirs different. This salsa seemed to be cooked or heated at one point. I prefer a fresh salsa that hasn't been heated. This is my reason for 4 stars. The Nacho Nortenos were excellent I opted for both beef and chicken on them and added refried beans. They did not disappoint. The sweet tea was excellent. You would be surprised by how many restaurants in the south that disappoint you with watered down sweet tea, or not enough sugar in it. This was my first visit here and if I am ever in the area again I would definitely go here again. Update stopped here 2 more times since the previous review and I would not change a thing about what I said above.

Ordered my food through waitr and got the beef nachos and my beef was RAW. Not just pink but red RAW and I called and spoke with the manager and he told me that it was between me and Waitr since I ordered through them. He then also tried to tell me that it was the chili powder that they cook with causing it to look raw. I definitely know the difference between raw beef and chili powder. He didn't or wouldn't try to rectify the situation and basically didn't care so I spent money on food that I was unable to eat. Instead of one star I give 0 stars. I am so very disappointed in this restaurant!!!
