This is closest to Authentic Thai food you gonna get in Boise!!!! Staff is Awesome, especially Lisa!!!! She tells you what goes with what to make a great dish!!! We Love Thai Basil and highly recommend. My Thai friend told me about this place and it took awhile for me to go because of their operation time. Now that we got that down packed we know when to go!!!! They are a bit under staffed like every other restaurant, but they still manage! See you again soon!!!!

It was a great experience for my lunch. I love this place so much. We always ordered Paneng Curry, Pad See Ew and Green Curry.
Now I also love their Vietnamese Egg Rolls. The sauce careful though I can taste the fish sauce a lil bit. Medium spice for Thai Place is pretty spicy. I'll stick to no spice or mild next time..
The asian lady that serve me today were super nice. She even gave me a free service of rice so I can eat the Pad See Ew at home. Hoping it will be less spicy. I will always recommend this place.

This is the first Thai place we have visited since moving here. My husband and I enjoyed our experience. The restaurant was clean (the table was slightly sticky), the staff was friendly, and prices were decent. The fresh herbs really add a nice flair to the dishes. I took away one star because it wasn't quite authentic, and the pineapple in my pineapple fried rice wasn't fresh. It was the canned tidbits and there were only a few. Don't get me wrong, I am guilty of using canned pineapple before in a recipe, but in Thailand, they always have a wide variety of fresh fruits, so that's what I was expecting. We would eat here again.

We ate at Thai Basil last night for my brother in laws birthday. He lived in Thailand for a while, and we wanted to take him somewhere with Authentic Thai food. He was very pleased with his meal, loved the appetizers and we all really enjoyed our entire experience. My dad is a very difficult man at restaurants, and the waitress handled that perfectly! She was seriously one of the best waitress's we have ever had. She was funny, witty and had great customer service. We will definitely be back! Don't worry, we won't bring my dad the next time. lol

My name is Elizabeth and I have come to Thai basil a few times and have always bragged about it ot friends and family. I can no longer do that. You portions have become ridiculously small with a reduction on price. Im given options between dinner and lunch portions and I choose dinner because I have notice a reduce size portions and they are same size. When I question it im told this is the largest to go order option and if I were to eat in I would get a larger portion. The price is the same weather I take it togo or eat in but the portions change? That is poor customer service and I will not be coming back. It is not work $16 to have a half bowl of food. I also know this complaint will fall on deaf ears but felt compelled to at least give my opinion.

The red curry was delicious, the service excellent, atmosphere just right, price reasonable, and you can get all the heat you want. 5 stars is hot enough for most, but if isn’t enough heat for you, you can crank it up as high as you want (my buddy asked for 26 stars and his food looked like lava). Highly recommend!
