Update: l had P&P again at a lunch event and the traditional pie was significantly better than the sheet pizza I had previously.
The crust is very true to NY style, and the ratio of sauce/toppings to dough was perfect— I didn’t need the additional side sauce that the owners offered.
It’s one of the few places in the Mentor area to get sheet pizza from, but the dough on the sheet pizza is much thicker than expected compared to NY style.
From my previous review I wanted to reiterate that the salad was very good— full of toppings and a generous side of dressing. The staff is also very friendly, and the restaurant is clean.
I may not get the sheet pizza again, but the traditional pies and salads are easily 5 star quality.
Don’t rate them off of DoorDash, first off. If you’re reading this, I’ve probably had a lot more pizza than you. And I mean that. Probably over 100 different pies. This place offers the best pickup-service New York style pizza in the county, hands down. They could use some rehab on the building and maybe more consistency. But that’s life.
Love the thin crust, personally I like it cooked a little longer for the crisper crust. The garlic sauce is great.
Apparently the garlic parmesan is homemade, guess I will be eating the wings next time.
My son & I had lunch here the other day. The pizza slices were hot & fresh. The cashier who served us was friendly & hospitable. I hope to return soon.
Yesterday I visited P&P for the first time. I ordered a large Sicilian pizza 🍕 with pepperoni. It was VERY good. I've lived in NEO for 14 years and it's hard to find good Sicilian pizza. I've had good Sicilian pizza in NYC and in my original hometown near Philadelphia, which has some of the best NY style Sicilian pizza. It was a real treat to have such a great tasting Sicilian pizza in NEO. I'll definitely be back soon to try their round thin NY style pizza.
The service was also good. The workers/owners were very friendly. I had ordered a Pepsi with my meal and the lady gave me a cup with ice. I know this may sound insignificant but it very nice gesture... and much appreciated.
I would highly recommend you try out this restaurant if you're hungry for some great tasting pizza.
Finally found decent NY Style pizza! Walked in to a familiar aroma. Bought by the slice. Opened the small box to for a satisfied viewing. Ultimate test was next. Perfect one hand fold with the tip making its legendary downward drop which forced me to raise it up high and into my mouth. All the flavors hit all at once. Without reaching for my soda I quickly ate the second slice to recapture the moment. The pizza bones could not be saved for the doggies cause they were that freaking delicious💯
Overall our family likes this pizza a lot, but more times than not in the past 6 months the pizza has arrived cold. Contacted through Slice app and got credit for pizza arriving cold. Great customer service and quickly handled. Completely understand being short staffed and will continue to give business.

Let me start off by saying that this is the best authentic New York style pizza I’ve had in Ohio. It seems like the workers there put a lot of heart into making these pizzas. Wouldn’t change a thing.
Their subs are quite possibly the best you’ll find outside of Philadelphia. Pizza is thin, but not too thin resulting in the perfect crunch to chew ratio. I order from here every other day, if not daily. I typically order deliveries because there is nothing in the world that brings me more joy than sitting on my porch and seeing the P&p’s delivery driver pull into my driveway. I often cry tears of joy when I begin to smell the sweet, sweet smell of P&p’s pizza. There is no better pizza place in the Cleveland area, I can assure you that.
