Beautiful Views & Very Good Bakery.... The bakery items are delicious. Their breakfasts really aren't bad either, especially the stuffed french toast. The view of the bay out the large windows is stunning, but it doesn't make up for what is typically pretty bad service. That is hands down Schloegel's biggest downfall. Still, not a bad place to stop for breakfast.
Was decent food for the area. Was very happy that they accomodate with a gluten free menu.

Great comfort food and beautiful view. I've been going to Schloegel's forever. The atmosphere is comfy and family oriented. There are beautiful views of Green Bay outside the large windows. I enjoy the broiled whitefish dinner the most. Always perfectly done and sides of my choice. No nonsense food. They have local influenced foods that change with the seasons and availability. Soups here are always good and homemade. Don't forget the baked goods. Pies are out front to tempt you for take home on the way out. We usually grab a pie to go and always enjoy them. Clean bathrooms. The gift shop helps pass the time if there is a wait. Don't try for lunch after Sunday services, it will be crowded. We usually go late 2pm for lunch or 10am for late breakfast. I'm always pleasantly full and happy when I leave. Great place to pull over if you're driving through Menominee. They do have a facebook page and website with their menu info. Enjoy.
Ok, I've eaten at this restaurant for the past 28 plus years...it's had some so-so times. but the past several years it's been great! I love their baked goods, their soups and they have great burgers. of course, all their food is good. and they've done a great job with the gift shop as well!
This a great midpoint between Escanaba and Green Bay. The food is always excellent and an ever changing variety!
FAMILY DINING. Great place to get "home cooked" meals. Check out their daily specials. Great breakfast and good selection of food for lunch and dinner meals. Try their patio for a good view of the bay (on a nice warm day). Friendly staff.
Food's good, Bakery's better. Basic American food and breakfast done very well. Save room for dessert; the pie is amazing. Bakery bread, pie, rolls, coffee cake, etc are all are excellent.
Generally an older crowd, and it can be a wait for a table and food. The view and service are good so it's not big deal.
Laura, our server, was wonderful ! She really allowed our brunch to be enjoyed quickly and easily. The portions were tremendous and extremely tasty. The quick and friendly attentiveness Laura provided made any requests unnecessary as condiments were brought and beverages and coffee kept full. I love the atmosphere. It was not very crowded but large groups seemed to be enjoying themselves very much. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and if you are lucky enough to be waited on by Laura then sit back and enjoy yourself. I've only been there for brunch but I would imagine that any meal would be a success !
One pound of delicious cheeseburger with the best fresh hot fries. Perfect! Service was top notch. Willbe back often !
Waitress was so nice the food was hot and delicious. Plus a beautiful view, can't wait to stop back! The prices were also great.
View of the water is amazing! Food is on the average side. However the cinnamon roles are huge and the bacon crispy and great.
I came here in October 2022 for breakfast as the second stop on my UP fall foliage trip (after driving by Lambeau Field about an hour and a half earlier). Was seated promply. A very sweet young lady took great care of me and told me all about where sports loyalties around town lie (apparently with Wisconsin teams). Ordered the Swedish Pancakes with some bacon and wanted to try the lingonberry syrup, but had never had it before, so waitress gave be both lingonberry and regular old maple syrup. Ended up going with the lingonberry, and it was delicious. I just started using my Google account for reviews and am reviewing places all over the country that I have previously been to. I am shocked to see so many recent negative reviews. I sure hope my experience is the rule and not the exception, and look forward to returning on one of my next trips to the UP. Highly recommended.
Great food and service. One small critique. I am a larger person so I stay away from booths. But I find your chairs restrictive as well. Maybe in the future as you replace chairs get a few without arms
Took a very long time to get seated. Seemed like they were short staff. Food was good, prices were good.
Delicious! Hot bacon dressing on any salad is a must! Poutine was awesome! And thier bakery selection! Let's just say we left with enough desert/breakfast pastry for a few days! Oh and the view!!! WOW!

We waited awhile while they were seating a large party- they were apparently really thrown off. Service was good, food was great, amazing view.
