Cook's Seafood - Menlo Park - Photo album

Great fish and chips. Sort of pricey... But then again that's the area and you do get a healthy amount of food. Both the halibut and cod are great. Not sure if the halibut is that much better than the cod to make me want to pay that much more. Also the fresh fish for purchase is delicious. Bought so
Solid fish and chips here. Great seafood, probably the best in the immediate stanford area. They have a great selection of foods from their restaurant side and also the market side. Crab, lobster, clams, oysters, etc. Plenty available!
We've been going to Cook's for 3 decades and love the fish and chips. Very fresh cod or halibut that's always done well and prepared to order. The batter is crispy and not too dense. The chips are thick sliced and are good. I prefer mine a little crispier. These are kind of soft, almost as if done i
Brought these Jumbo Prawns home and air fried them to perfection. Thanks to Cook's great quality seafood, we enjoyed a delicious meal. Wonderful selection of seafood at the "butcher station" of Cook's. Next time we will have to visit the "Cook's restaurant" right next door.
The market is awesome. Freshest seafood with sushi grade options. We often get salmon, tuna and salmon skin (to fry) and make our own hand rolls at home. I never go anywhere else for my seafood. Service is also friendly and helpful.
I had the clams. As good as they get. Outside dinning only.
I ordered take out scallops and chips with a side of veggies. The veggies were unpleasantly rubbery so I tossed them. The chips were completely soggy so I tossed them. And the scallops were barely passable- a weird flavored oil and a bit over cooked. For $25 this dinner was a horrible waste.
I would like give this place 5 stars but I can't. Most of the food is very good and your going to pay for it because it's quite expensive. My problem is the fries. They are rarely cooked long enough in the deep fry. They are never crisp. They give you a lot of fries but they are as limp and soggy.
