I had the salad and chicken Parmesan which most wouldn't recommend at a steakhouse but it was above average for the area. They have an early bird special which most places no longer have. Those that did have dessert thought they hit the spot. Portions were ample as many take away bags were made. The waiter was even informative on how rare to expect the meat to be. I would go back for sure.
Went there for dinner around 9:30 tonight. Our server, Todd, was nothing short of amazing. Brought our drinks promptly, was very accommodating, and was very polite. Would definitely go back and request him as a server again. Thanks for the great service!

Anyone locally familiar with the longtime favorite premiere Cocke & Kettle restaurant still mourn it's closing many years ago. We recently dined at the Mendon Steak & Seafood restaurant in Mendon, Massachusetts. We haven't been there for a long while. I'm pleased to say we were completely amazed. The food was delicious, well prepared, with large portions of each item. No skimping on anything. Our table server was beyond professional. The food came fairly quickly and was placed on our table in a manner you only see in top tier restaurants. Polite, concerned, and friendly. I also want to say the eating areas were spotlessly clean, neatly set, and tables nicely spaced apart with respect for the times we live in today. There are huge expanded, relatively new table areas to accommodate many patrons. The charm and interior beauty of this New England Steak & Seafood restaurant is something to behold. The owner of this fine eatery deserves the highest compliments for creating a restaurant that is a masterpiece of food, service, and fun.
Great food!! Prime rib was perfect. Filet cut with a fork. Finished off with chocolate chip lava cake. Awesome food at a great price. Surf and turf with dessert for under $50 pp.
Recommended by a local and it was delicious! Casual and 'old-school' vibe to the restaurant. Lots on the menu. Seafood chowder was very good though a tad salty for my taste. However, the ribs may be the best ribs I've ever had! I've been dreaming about them ever since! Rolls came out with blueberry cornbread and cinnamon rolls which were also really good. Portions were big and service was excellent. Beer selection was really small but you come here for the food! I'm from out of town but hope to return sometime for those ribs!
Found this gem of a place while house hunting. Wow! We ate on the bar side and absolutely loved the historic decor! The staff were welcoming and on top of everything. The prime rib and mashed potatoes were amazing. Chicken parm was delicious! The complimentary cheese, crackers and assorted rolls made the whole experience even better! We will definitely be back!
