The food and the service was ok but it could've been better. It took a while to be seated, and also a while to get my food. I ordered the 2 for $20 special, and it was not what I expected it to be. There weren't very many options to choose from for the special. Also, I had to get my appetizer remade. The remake order came out after I received my entree.
Of course it was a weekday when we decided to go here to eat for just a midweek family night out. It wasn't very busy at all and everyone from the hostess to the manager to our waiter were very down to earth courteous people. I loved it ! However I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Burger and at first my Egg Rolls that go on top were missing but my waiter quickly went back to get them. I got them but didn't like how they tasted so i left them to the side and decided to try my burger. I cut it in fours like I like to do and tasted it and it tasted burnt to me and I thought it was just me but I had my fiance taste it and he said the same thing. I grabbed my waiters attention and he promptly alerted the manager and I was able to get the chicken pasta but got it to go because I no longer had an appetite. But all in all service was awesome so me and my family will return here again.
My wife and I ordered the same thing a Philly steak and cheese Burger mine was with onion rings and hers was with fries. And let me tell you those burgers were absolutely delicious! Now her fries were better than my onion rings but they weren't too bad either. The service was excellent our waitress Ashley didn't stop moving the whole time we were there. Overall we had a great experience. I only gave four stars because I think $13 per meal is a little pricey for a burger but don't get me wrong I will be back.
For as good as my sandwich was, I really would love to give 5 stars, but I can't. I'm not even sure I should give 4, but 3 doesn't seem enough. My family and I were there today - 18 of us. It took a while to get all drink and food orders, to be expected. No issues there. When my chicken sandwich was placed in front of me I was excited to eat it - only to discover not only that it had onions on it (onions are not listed as an ingredient for this sandwich and none of the others who ordered this in our group received or ordered onions) but it was also missing the avocado and mayo it was supposed to have. I cannot eat raw onion and almost asked to have a new sandwich made but chose not to waste the food because another chicken sandwich arrived with incorrect ingredients on it (had been requested with no tomato, which, if eaten, would send her to the ER) so I took off the onions and the lettuce they touched and hoped that would be good enough. My sandwich was amazing. So so good. I forgot about those onions - until I was on my way home and I started getting really sensitive to the sunlight even with my sunglasses and it wasn't all that bright out. Had a migraine by the time I was home. Yes, I am that sensitive to raw onions. I should have sent my sandwich back to have a fresh one made, wasted food be darned - but I was hungry! Lesson learned.
I really want to give benefit of the doubt since there were 18 of us and 4 of us ordered the same sandwich, but there was no to little effort made to keep individual orders separate. Even then, more than one sandwich arrived missing ingredients it was supposed to have and we had to wait extra for them.
That being said, the french onion soup (those onions are super cooked and don't bother me) was super awesome delish and piping hot. Our server, Lisa, was pretty great too. I don't know where the sandwich slip-up occurred and how much fault fell to her, but in general I really liked her and would be happy for her to take care of us again. Until my head started hurting I really felt like her gratuity for the large party was well deserved.
Even still, go see Lisa. She's a good server and has a great personality and a pretty smile. She will help make your experience at this Friday's pleasant.
I just wish my sandwich had not arrived with onions on it, since it wasn't supposed to. I also wish I had asked for a new sandwich.
But guys, that sandwich otherwise is THE BOMB.
The first time in many years I had lunch at Friday's. The food was delicious the staff was friendly. It was a great experience.
The staff was outstanding and the food was so good I had a chicken and shrimp Cajun pasta it never tastes as good as it did today my hats off to all the staff at work this morning. Ill be back soon....
Food is always good for casual dining but yes it's a but ....the wait staff need some improvements. It has slumped over the past few years. A friend said even lunch with 7 years old daughter said the wait staff didn't smile or speak prior to taking their order. When a child notice it, it's not good. It use to be a happy place. On one occasion it took over 30 minutes just to get appetizers. 5 stars for the bar, 4 stars for the food and manager , 3 stars for wait staff.

Well, food was good and most of the staff is wonderful! The hostess needs a little help. Seemed to be more interested in the phone than actually welcoming guest. Talked very low, could barely hear her. I mean, "Hi, welcome to Friday's!" I guess that was asking too much. Customer service is falling behind there. Wait staff, Thumbs up for your hard work! Would give 5 stars, but hostess turned us off. Not very excited about being at work. We were there Sunday about 1 ish.
