We wanted to stay away from chain restaurants and eat somewhere local. This place didn't disappoint! Great food and friendly service. The fried squash was awesome! Would definitely stop again when driving thru!

This restaurant, the food, the waitresses, the owner, all get a 5. Even the other customers are so friendly and welcoming. The New management is making great improvements. Maria's is our favorite. Yum. Breakfast all day.

Great food for a good price. We go there a few times a month, mainly for breakfast. Nothing fancy, but a good meal is guaranteed. Lots of character. We need more places like this!

As close to grandma's as you can get in the city! Great cornbread and the hamburger steak and gravy with mashed potatoes is delicious. Definitely will be returning asap.

They have an awesome breakfast. The prices are very inexpensive for the quality and quantity of the meals. They are very fast if you are on the go in the morning. I want to try their lunch and dinner because the breakfast impressed me that much.

Rodney Ward ; A favorite place to eat for myself and my family with daily specials. I like the grilled fish. My wife and daughter like the rib eye steaks with salad, baked potato, and Texas toast. The good is very good. The service is excellent and one of the main reasons I like eating there. The blonde in the other post does not work there anymore and the staff has always been friendly and responsive.
The hours are better now.

Maria's offers breakfast, home cooking, and steaks. My husband and I eat there once a week. We tried the steaks once and were slightly disappointed. We've haven't tried the breakfast yet, but the home cooked meals with fresh bread can't be beat, and the fried green tomatoes are the best in Memphis. If you are looking for a fancy or expensive place to eat, you need to look elsewhere, but if you are looking for a clean restaurant with good food in a pleasant atmosphere, Maria's would be an excellent choice.
