Our order was off, but no matter, the food is still good.
One odd incident. I asked the youngish server what beer were on tap. She pointed to the bar where I couldn't really read what was there, except for Wiseacre. Since I'm not from Memphis, I asked, "what kind of beer is Wiseacre?"
She looked at me and said, "I don't know, I don't drink" and just kept staring. I thought for a second she was joking, but she just kept staring. I asked her if it would be too much trouble to find out. I got a little "hurrumph" out of her and she yelled at a more seasoned server who told her.
Pro Tip - If you're going to be a server, learn the menu whether you eat or drink those things or not.

Nothing but great slices and cold beer at Pizza Cafe. Great service! One of the OG places that never left when all else shut down in the 80s. Plus, it's haunted... a cook stabbed the chef. It's a whole thing.

Same pizza I've enjoyed for 30+ years. The style of pizza (particularly the cracker-y crust) isn't enjoyable to some, but complaining about that is like complaining about Hellraiser when you just don't like the horror genre. Service ranges from aloof to pleasantly functional, but they get the orders correct so whatevs.

This place was suggested to me for nice thin pizza. That it was! It was delicious! Not greasy at all!! That's a plus. Ordered a couple of things so we could try out. 10" BBQ chic/ beef pizza AMAZING! Chicken and cheddar sandwich. The bun was slightly toasted but still really soft to the chew. Callazone, omg, was phenomenal, NOT greasy at all! Fresh made and just umm good. The total bill was 36$, including soft drinks. Now the reason for 4 stars is because the place is in total need of a dusting and bath.

Went with a group of 6 on a weeknight. Service was timely and pizza was flavorful. Able to order pizza by the slice if you want to try multiple pizza types. Clever idea I haven’t seen before. Can see dough be hand rolled through machine in open kitchen. Hard to go wrong with local pizza.

The pizza was so good I forgot to take pictures before we started eating 😅 we were hungry after a trip to the zoo. It’s a little bit of a wait because they prepare and cook as you order but so worth the wait. Salads were excellent. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the hospitality was great.
