Waffle House

Dirty Women's Bathroom?!!!?!! Disgusting! Napkins from the restaurant on the dirty floor.It looked like it had notbeen cleaned in a week or so! I told the waitress as we were checking out.She didn't care! NO TOILET PAPER ON THE ROLL! None at all! The Automatic hand dryer didn't work. I came out of the bathroom, to grab some napkins to dry my hands!

I love Waffle House, but it's been a minute since I last went. This visit had me regretting my absence. The din of noise, silverware clacking, orders being called, a dozen hard-working folks crammed on the line, turning out fantastic food on the fly. Rebecca served us with patience and grace and kindness, despite every excuse not to during the hectic breakfast rush. This place is a well-oiled machine, and if I weren't just pushing through town, I'd love to make it a regular destination

My best friend and I were going out of town the next morning so we decided not to cook but to have dinner at the Waffle House on Sycamore View in Memphis. Immediately when we walked in we saw that there was approximately 8 people ahead of us, but it was ok. We were greeted and seated in perfect eye sight of the cook and our drink orders were delivered to us. I immediately noticed that he, Josh was a great cook because of his ability to multi-task, keep a clean cooking area and fulfill his orders without burning them or making senseless errors. Our waitress, Regina, was as good as they come regarding customer service and professionalism throughout our visit. Within, I would say 30 minutes we had our meal. When I tell you that the T-Bone Steaks and hash browns with onions and mushrooms were on point...oh yes. I noticed when our steaks were being prepared that Josh used Worcestershire sauce and covered the steak while cooking with a metal lid to keep it tender...we loved our steaks. When we received the check we looked at each other and said "a nice tip is definitely in order". ($10). I really recommend those who would like great food , service and a professional attitude from your server to go to The Waffle House on Sycamore View in Memphis and see what you have been missing.
