Mrs. Jackson has been catering food for me for over 25 years. The food is Wonderful and she has such a Great person and the place is clean and cute as a button.
Soooooooo good! And the service is great! They have good options for lunch and tasty desserts.
I worked with Ms. Barbara to order pies for a private dinner at Rendezvous BBQ. She made some excellent recommendations to best fit my group’s needs. She was as sweet as her desserts. The individual pies were a hit. My favorite was the chess and the key lime was a close second. Highly recommend their sweets!
Apart from the food being amazing, our experience here was positively memorable. Interacting with some of the nicest people I've ever met made our visit to Memphis that much better. We will be back.
Best Dessert in Memphis. If you are in Memphis searching for dessert near me, head to O' Taste and See. Last week I went to a dessert tasting. We are trying to find a tasty treat for some party guest in a few months. At the tasting we had pecan pie, banana pudding, chess pie, and brownies. It was an overwhelming YES to the delicious pecan pie and banana pudding for our event. They are delicious and will go great with the dinner selection. Not only did we get to taste this amazing food, we got to talk with the founder Barbara Jackson. Her story is awesome, I'll let her tell you when and why she opened O' Taste and See. The short version, is we need more people making career decisions like Barbara. Back to the food... Next time you need desserts for your event, check out O' Taste and See Pies and Quiche. They are amazing.

The owner is visible and her staff is as sweet as the baked goods. The mini pecan pies were perfect and the VIP (Mango tea and lemonade) will satisfy any sweet tooth. Loved it!
This is and has always been one of the hidden gems in Memphis, great sandwiches, incredible desserts, and delicious soups, but the best part of the whole experience is the owner Barbara. We have been enjoying her food and company for about 5 years now. If you are near the airport do yourself a favor and pay Barbara and her staff a visit, you’ll be glad you did!
I ordered a Chicken&Spinach quiche from O'Taste And See Pies and Quiche for an office function this morning. This is literally the best quiche I've ever had! The entire office was raving about it! On top of that, the owner was an absolute joy to encounter! Her personality and kindness was the cherry on top! I will definitely be returning often and plenty. Best service ever!!
Stopped by for lunch after landing at the Memphis airport. The potato soup and ham & cheese sandwich were great. We also picked up a sweet potato pie to for takeout. It was awesome! Miss Barbara the owner was friendly and welcoming. If your near the Memphis airport I'd recommend giving this place a try.
Found this little gem when taking our son to the airport and we wanted something other than fast food. I love everything about it...the food, the decor and the ladies who serve you are delightful! The quiche was yummy and the desserts were worth cheating on your diet!
This is another hiding gem here in Memphis Tennessee. Don't be fooled by the location as I was. I have passed by this place a million times.. I don't really care for store bought desserts. My family always have baked home desserts from scratch. So when ever I go places and they offer dessert I am never satisfied. Yesterday I bought a pecan pie from Walmart cut 1 slice out of it and three the whole pie away.. Today at work I was just searching different local places that I could grab some good lunch and this place popped up.. I say that they served homemade cakes and pies as well.. Boy o boy o boy.. I stopped in and I felt like a little kid in a candy store. They had so much to choose from . I bought a variety of items. When I returned to work I decided to taste the chess pie first. Mind you every one can't bake a good Chess pie. As I took my first bite I closed my eyes and I felt as if my deceased grandma baked that pie. It was truly delicious. I bought chess pie sweet potato pie and pecan pie. They all taste like my mom or grandma made them. I will be returning in the near future to try more items.. I highly recommend this place.
