The only negative was that they were out of the smoked Mac and cheese for my order so I had to go with smoked spaghetti. It was delicious. Ordered ribs, smoked sausage sandwich, baked beans, fries and greens as well. Everything was tasty! The staff was super friendly.

The customer service was phenomenal! Easy ordering and pickup. I ordered the wing tip plate for $15. HUGE portions and the tips were delicious! I’m a very hard to please person but my expectations were blown away by the sauce for the tips and the customer service! 9/10 will attend again!

From service to food, this place was top notch. We were greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff who helped us figure out our order. The beef ribs were delicious and I had no idea I could eat as much of it as I did! The hot link had just the right spice and texture. The green beans are some of the best I have ever tasted and I grew up in the south, so I have had my fair share of beans. Neely's is a true gem of Memphis and shouldn't be missed.

Neeley's is one of the best in Memphis, a BBQ institution. The BBQ spaghetti is different and delicious. The rib tips... OMG. I wish I had ordered 10 pounds of them. The service was great - it's rare that staff can actually enhance a delicious culinary experience such as this, but they were such a delight.

Passing thru Memphis and had to try some of some of the regions renowned BBQ. Coming from central Texas, not usually too impressed with BBQ from outside our borders but Neely’s was a tremendous surprise! Wife had pulled pork sandwich and I had the pork ribs. Smoked to perfection and falling off the bone! Been to many BBQ competitions and Nellys is right there with Franklins & Salt Lick in Austin. Cherry on top is their baked beans…ono! Extremely friendly folks and I highly recommend this place!

Delightful experience with excellent customer service, fresh and delicious food, and overall an extremely positive visit. I was addressed by name several times by the very sweet hostess, making sure I had everything I needed and everything was OK. I wasn't sure if they were open at first, I arrived a little before noon and CLOSED signs were up even tho all online notices said they opened at 11. But at noon the open signs came on. Still being very Covid cautious with limited seating, beverages and condiments. Rib tips were meaty, fries were crisp and fresh and not too salty. Excellent meal!

We stopped here from word of mouth from other friends. This is definitely a must go to place. Ken and May made us feel at home & took the time to visit. The smoked spaghetti was out of this world & the smoked greens was like nothing I have ever tasted. Definitely will come back several times. May even have to make a special trip from Little Rock to eat here.

My family and I visited this restaurant while on vacation From Texas and loved everything about it. The waitress and the staff was the best, and the food was the best bbq ever. We will definitely visit it again when back in Memphis.

I'm from Memphis, and my wife and I called in a order of ribs, and bbq beans. Now the ribs were tender, but tasted like they came straight out of the oven. No smoked taste at all. Too much sauce on the beans, just completely drowned out the flavor of the beans. No smile when entering the establishment, and very short when communicating with them. Customer service means everything. I don't care how long you've been there, short cutting your customers will lead to your demise. Will never recommend, nor come back there again.

You might want to change your hours of operation on Sunday. Site says you close at 8pm when obviously you close at 6pm. Let a customer sit at the window for 40 minutes then answer the phone with a “What”? Don’t think so! Never ever will I recommend this place to anyone! Sorry ass service.

We visited last week on weekday as we had friends in from Kentucky & one of the bucket list items was trying BBQ in Memphis. I have never felt less welcome in a restaurant in my life. While there were not many people in the place, the waitress acted like we were bothering her by being there. The person who took our money was not at all friendly and didn't even thank us for coming. I had been to the Southaven location before & was quite pleased withe the service & food there, but this location made such a bad impression that it is highly unlikely I will ever darken the door of any of their establishments again.

The employees were nice but they yelled all the way across the restaurant constantly. They were having a party that night and the band was practicing extremely loud over ours heads and no one bothered to stop them or apologize. It was not very clean but our server was very sweet. Food was good. Don’t care to go back.

Very good food, and everyone was very friendly! They even sent us home with souvenirs since we are Neely's too; they really treated us like family! :) We will definitely be back anytime that we are in Memphis! I loved the pulled pork sandwich!

It's a family owned business and being a previous family owned restaurant, owner; I understand the day-to-day challenges of operation, as well as obtaining "good" help.
