I love Buckley's Lunchbox. It is my favorite lunch spot. While everything I have ever tried there (salads, burgers and specials), are delicious my favorite is the firecracker salmon and the "to die for" creamed spinach. The atmosphere is very friendly and always an enjoyable experience.
A few weeks ago a was recommended the Bourbon chicken by our waiter,Man oh man! One of the top 5 dishes I've ever had. So yesterday I finally got a chance to go again this time with my brother and we were greeted with the same enthusiastic energy as before. Again food was great and whomever the guy up front is, makes everyone feels welcomed and appreciated. Great Job Guys!
One of my favorite lunch spots! Especially love the genuine kindness of the owner and staff. The food is prepared and delivered timely. My favorite is the Firecracker Salmon, but I had the Grouch Burger and it was great!
Had my favorite on this visit - Firecracker Salmon and it was consistently as good as ever. Normally I add the jambalaya and forego the veggie medley but I went for it today and it was great - what gave it that extra yum - the wheat berries that were included. My lunch pals had the flame grilled chicken w/wild rice and black bean burger (and per the feedback I got they were both great). Added bonus, they now take reservations ... it is a "hot" spot!!! 😎
The burgers here are incredibly and consistently delicious! Nice cozy atmosphere. It was one of my dad's favorite places, and we ate lunch there many times. They have salads and other entrées too. The staff members are impeccable! Very friendly and attentive.
Absolutely love this place, they've got the best bacon cheeseburger. They are a little pricey, but well worth it.
The owner is very nice, I noticed on my credit card bill that I was charged for two meals instead of one, called the restaurant, and he had me squared away in about 10 minutes. An excellent local restaurant worth supporting. The main Buckley's is excellent also.
We ordered 3 different take and wave meals for my birthday lunch. Everyone raved about their food. Mine was the salmon and cheese grits and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. It all heated up beautifully and was so so good! The portions are big but I don’t think it’s enough to call a 2 person meal. More like 1 person with some leftovers.10/10 would order everyday if I was rich.
The Lunchbox is my go-to for a quick early lunch. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate but it does get a little loud during peak lunch. Arrive after 1130 and you may have to wait. Everything is delicious and the staff is friendly and attentive. Parking can be a challenge - again get there early.
Their catering is also awesome - they've bailed me out more than once with a last minute order.
A perfect spot for a business lunch. The bacon cheddar burger was prepared perfectly using prime cuts of steak for the meat! I had an alternate side of creamed spinach that was served in a separate dish on the plate and was memorably good! The patty was large, and well-seasoned and well-prepared to provide maximum flavor from a superb cut of meat. Accompanied by fresh lettuce, onion and aged cheddar, this combination makes for one of the best burgers in Memphis. The atmosphere was surprisingly upscale...not a burger joint at all. The menu offerings extend to give the patron many choices. I will return to try more of their food. You should expect to pay more when eating at Buckley's but you will find it is well worth the price.
Frenchy was an awesome server! He was incredibly personable and gave great recommendations on what to get. Our food cake out in a very timely manner and that Havana Cuban was absolutely the bomb. I'll definitely be back soon.
My favorite restaurant for a casual business lunch in Memphis. The food is consistently great as is their service. Warning - if you like a salad with a kick to it their Texican Chicken salad is addictive. Great atmosphere and even when it's full you can have a conversation without having to yell across the table. If you get there before 11:30 or around 1:00 you can usually avoid the peak lunch crowd and get a table quickly.
Yum! Fast and fresh lunch. Low carb heaven, or if a hearty veggie plate is on your mind. They have something for everyone. The burger salad is my favorite go to, and we go to it often!
Had my wife's Christmas dinner there tonight and really enjoyed it. Food was great as was the service. Could have used bigger portions but the food was very good.
