We ordered every side except for the fries - all were amazing! The What the Cluck Chicken sandwich is where it’s at! Soo good. I also got the Damn Hot Lg. White. It was very juicy and had great flavor. Great experience, great food! We will definitely be going back.
And the banana pudding is the best I’ve ever had.
It was great. I made the mistake of ordering the large chicken plate instead of the small plate. The large plate will feed at least two normal people. Got the medium sauce and it was really good. Will probably kick it up to hot sauce next time I go. Everything was very good. The line gets really long so will probably order online in the future.
As a tourist, you have to try hot chicken while in TN so we checked out Hattie B's. It was good. The chicken was perfectly cooked. The sides were good. The service was great (from the cashier to the server to the woman that cleared our plates). It was nothing to write home about but it was good. Atmosphere was typical BBQ restaurant style. Glad we got a taste of what TN is known for. Probably wouldn't recommend the banana pudding.
It's no Princes but is quenches my thirst for a spicy chicken sandwhich. Always a huge piece of fried chicken. I was feeling bold today so I decided to try the "damn hot" option. I can tell you it is not for the weak. The regular is most people's extra hot and the damn hot is most folks suicide option. I also ordered the crinkle cut fries and the black eyed pea salad. I couldn't eat it all.
Absolutely great food with a wonderful staff. Service was outstanding from beginning to end. They checked on us multiple times and the food came out so fast. Definitely will be back!
First time trying one of the Hattie B's restaurants, and loved it! Fingers meal is a great value. I recommend getting 2/1 of two flavors. The two spiciest options are truly for enthusiasts only, but won't make fans sick from being too spicy. Really enjoyed the cheesy grits, too.
Pretty good food and good environment! The chicken is the best part. Don’t get risky with the spice if you’re not a spicy person. I love the heat my husband not so much lol 😂
The Hattie B's in Memphis is comparable to the one in Nashville. The service was quick (went late on a Saturday night), and the establishment was well kept. Pretty exterior and interior with plenty of room to sit, but parking can be difficult if they are busy since their parking lot is limited. The chicken is flavorful, but it is on the greasier side since they will dip it in the hot oil. The sides are amazing. Do get their bacon cheddar grits and pimento mac and cheese.
First time eating here, the service was great! The food was good, the chicken was well seasoned, we didn't get the hottest option, sides were also good! The peach cobbler wasn't as well seasoned, but it tasted ok. I'd eat here again.
Great little spot to grab some fried chicken and traditional southern sides. Let me warn you that when they say "Hot", they mean it!

Well it's a wrap! Will be coming back as much as possible! Incredible Food! The Bacon chedder grits. The pimento Mac and cheese and the Hot Chicken sandwich! The wings are incredible! A must try!
Delicious food! I got the Dirty Bird Fries (under snack) but definitely large enough to be it’s own meal! You can even add extra protein to it if you want. If you have a weak spice tolerance, you might not want to go above a mild. The mild might even have a kick for some of you! Love their Mac n cheese and sweet tea too
