VEGAN TACOS! That's all that needs to be said. My bestfriend introduced me to Fuel food truck and the vegan tacos. That was honestly probably the first vegan-related dish I've had and they were DELICIOUS. This past weekend we went to sit down and the cafe. I had hibiscus tea and the tacos and was super satisfied. Two tacos filled me up and their menu is priced well. I can't wait to go back and try more items.

My wife is Vegan we ate here at least once or twice a week. Great staff and delicious food. We love the new pizza on the menu. They also have a food truck at the farmers market, so we also get to enjoy their breakfast/lunch menu too.

My husband is vegetarian so I always try to find places to eat that offer more vegetarian food than pasta or salads. This place was AWESOME. I am not a vegetarian and the bison tacos were great except my two year old picky eater are most of them. We had the root and Brussels sprouts sides which were excellent. My husband had the "Reuben" sandwich which was definitely not a prepackaged or processed. The brownie and ice cream dessert had great flavor! Great experience and coming from someone that is very picky about service and food this place did great on all accounts!!!

Delicious pizza. Homemade cashew cheese (which didn't have too much of a taste but the overall texture of the pizza was great). Loved the beet pepperoni. That's a new one! Roasted summer squash app was too soupy. Not my fav.

Confirmed APRIL 2019 FUEL CAFE IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Small resturant; one of few Vegan options in Memphis. Tiny open kitchen. I'm constantly impressed by the output. Always excellent service and incredibly yummy dishes! (I'm not a chip or nacho person but Fuel Cafe's Vegan Nachos are a personal fave of mine. The non Vegan nachos are tasty as well). Very reasonably priced menu. Outdoor and indoor seating. If you are wheelchair bound you will not be able to get into the inside of the resturant or the bathroom. If you see one of their food trucks out and about in the community go grab a quick bite, it'll be worth it!

Surprisingly celiac-friendly place. Our waitress was very accommodating and informative. Having read other reviews, we were prepared to wait a while for our food, but it came pretty quickly. It wasn't particularly busy though. We got fuel fries (half sweet potato and half regular) with dipping sauces and it was delicious. Out waitress informed us that all sauces are made in-house. Many vegan and gluten free options. I'd go again.
