This was my first time in Memphis. This restaurant was recommended by someone. I must say the ribs were the best ribs I’ve ever eaten. Oh did I mention the sides were even delicious! I highly recommend you to stop by if your in Memphis your taste buds will be well satisfied.

I have been eating here since the 10th grade (over 30 years) and I haven’t found a better BBQ place yet. Every time I come home I have to stop and get some A & R. As soon as people find out I’m from Memphis their 1st question is always I’m going to Memphis soon who has the best BBQ??? My answer.... A & R��
If you’re looking for the best in Memphis BBQ sandwiches be sure and stop here. We came in at 1:00 pm and it was a steady stream of customers right through the time we left. Freda is the person at the front to deal with and she’s a super order taker, hostess and waitress when needed. Can’t wait to come back and try some of the other items.
Food was great! Smaller Portions vs price. Mixed sauce was good but not hot at all. Next time, I'll try all hot. I had brisket , onion rings, cookies and rib tips (hard to find in the south) could have been a little more tender but great! Folks were pouring in to buy!
Excellent! The beans were so good. Got the Lemon Meringue pie- not tart or lemon flavor enough for me.

I came here for the fried sweet potato pie, and it didn't disappoint. I also got some rib tips. They lacked flavor. I just added some salt to them and they were decent. There was a long line.

From the Coleslaw, I literally sit and ate by itself (without thinking) to these "🔥FIRE BEANS🔥". These baked beans got some "O-Wee" sauce in them. These rib-tips, aka 🐐The BILLYGOAT of the BLUFF🐐.

A & R is THE TRUTH!!! I've probably been to 100 spots.... this is top 3!! They got all the smoke! I can't wait to go back.
Had the rib plate and bologna sandwich, both really good choices! Close to Graceland, if you're visiting the area.
I tried it for the 1st time and it was very good. I got the turkey breast sandwich (large), but it really don't think it's any different from the regular size. I came back the 2nd time for a turkey sausage sandwich combo, baked beans, and a fried peach pie. Amazing. The only thing I could see that needs to change is the pies can be cooked to order so that they are hot. All and all good food!!!
You got to Go There! Great Food, Great Service, Comfortable Atmosphere. I Get the Large Beef Combo with the Mixed Sauce. They have a lot of Desserts to fit your Taste! 😄
