A must try when in Memphis. Enjoyed the food! Soul food and excellent service! I highly recommend this place! They even have neckbones and chitterlings on the menu!

This place was so amazing, it is as real as it gets for southern food. We came from Canada and wanted something outside of the regular downtown fair.
From the clientele it was clear that the locals eat here. The service , the reception was a true testament to southern hospitality!
We had liver and onions(stunning) , chicken friend steak , cornmeal dressing(wife's fav) , beans and beautiful picked tomatoes.
All the staff were so happy and served us with a smile.

OMG. I been waiting to get here for the last 6 months and finally got here on yesterday. Everything was excellent. It wasn't crowded. Customer Service was great, and Didn't have to wait long. Keep up the great work
Our first stop in Memphis (with our luggage in tow) was The Four Way for soul food. I would argue this should be everyone’s first stop as this was some of the best catfish I’ve ever tasted. Josh and I both said we’ll come back from Atlanta just for that fish. We tried both the baked and fried - fried hands down is the way to go but the baked was absolutely delicious too. The restaurant has a diner feel and like you’re sitting among old friends. The staff were all very friendly and again yall the food was very, very good. 10/10 recommend!
First stop here in Memphis and I have to say being fron las vegas yall need to open a spot out there because we need more places like this in vegas definitely would recommend coming here and I look foward to coming back. 👌 I ordered wings and fries with Mac and cheese and oh boy let's not talk about that Lemonade it was the bomb
I wish we had some more before pictures BUT the way our stomachs were talking to us as soon as we opened those plates....it didn't work out 🤷🏾♀️ Anyway the food was delicious! We ordered the Turkey & Dressing (Delicious), Chicken Wings plate (Amazing) and Neckbones (Wonderful) and Catfish (ohhhhhhhh my goodness 😋) Allllll of our sides: Mac n Cheese, Cabbage, Dressing, Greens were PERFECT! If you come to Memphis please come here for Soulfood! The BEST part though was....Lorenzo 😊 Thank you Lorenzo for your humor, hospitality and all around great vibe. You made my Birthday girls trip soooooo much better!
This was easily the best food I’ve ever had in my entire life. I knew the minute we ate here halfway into our trip that we wouldn’t have another meal to even come close in comparison. You leave here with a full belly and happier soul! The customer service is phenomenal and the food is out of this world. We had the fried catfish, fried chicken, fried porkchops, smothered porkchops, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, cabbage, boiled okra, coleslaw, and corn bread. We also absolutely fawn over the VIP (arnold palmer drink)! We loved it so much we came back a second time on our way out. This is a must, must, MUST for anyone who lives in or is traveling to/through Memphis!!
Moved to Memphis about 4 years ago and finally (finally! what took me so long?) checked this place out yesterday. Was unsure what to try so I went with turkey and dressing and man, every single item on my plate was terrific! I think my turnip greens were the best I've ever had, and I love turnip greens. Can't imagine there's anything on the menu that isn't great.
When I learned that these folks were responsible for fueling the musicians, producers, and staff at the legendary Stax studio...well I had to make a pilgrimage and pay my respects. Food for the Soul indeed, and it is fresh and fantastic! So good, in fact, that I returned less than 24 hours later for a second round.
Fried Chicken (had it twice) was juicy and crunchy and glorious and perfect. That being said, I'm a sides freak, and I measure the soul of a kitchen on the quality and attention given to their preparation. They totally delivered on everything I tried. Smothered Cabbage, Mac n Cheese, Yams, Cornbread were all screaming with flavor and love. But the star for me was the Turnip Greens. I'm a greens freak and have eaten a whole lot in my years... and these are the best I've had. Do yourself a favor and order extra! .....and Sweet Tea to wash it all down, of course. It's mandatory. If there is any place that deserves 6 stars this is the place. They must have reached up into Heaven and kidnapped God himself and put him to work in the kitchen. Every mouthful is exploding with flavor. My life is now ruined because nothing I eat again will ever reach the absolute perfection that they attain here on a daily basis. If you are in the area or even hours away this is a MUST go to joint. Everything is incredible so order whatever you are in the mood for. You will not regret it.
The food is simply AMAZING!! The quality is consistent!! They catered our 2023 Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners. There are never any leftovers. Thank you Four Way! Jimmie & Angela 🤗
