What a fun experience.
Great tasting food with super and personable service. Good wine selections. I ate Chilean Sea Bass with butternut squash and green beans. For desert a Bourbon Cream Brule.
It is a great dining experience and amazing food for a fun night out to a business dinner with clients. Try the Elk Chop...amazing and not the taste of "wild meat" // "gamey."
This is my favorite special occasion place. A group of friends who all have birthdays the same week went at my recommendation to celebrate. They loved it just as much as I do. The food is simply amazing and they create an overall wonderful experience.
Enjoyed a wonderful meal including escargot, foie Gras, dover chocolate souffle. Highly recommend.
What a wonderful fine dining experience with a cozy and intimate feel. The staff and owner made you feel as though each dish was made, especially for you! From the valet, hostess, and server to the meal and the owner/chef greetings, all created the perfect ambiance❣️
The fois gras was good. The halibut with shrimp was cooked perfectly and had a very delicate sauce that allowed the fish flavor to shine. The bison stuffed quail was interesting but could have been more flavorful (after the fish) by having the bison cooked with a little cumin or cinnamon. The lamb was excellent with the brown sauce. The desert was marvelous with interlace layers of philo pastry, raspberries, and chocolate. K9
We skipped the wine because my wife rarely drinks much and red or rose (or any wine with sulfites) gives me a headache. I asked for a Bloody Mary but they were out of tomatoe mix!? I substituted a Tequila Sunrise, which was good enough that I had another.
Service was impeccable. Both my wife and I were very pleased, and she even ate all of her helpings, including an amuse-bouche of bison at the beginning (just ok) and an excellent little scoop of lemon sorbet on the middle.
The restaurant is a converted home. So some areas are quieter / more intimate than others. For this meal we were seated in a more open area, which was somewhat noisy (due to other diners).
Second visit, better than first. Wonderful service. Had the Sunday Night Special for $40 and three courses. My husband and I each selected the romaine salad with pistachios and the redfish entree with crawfish etoufee. The salad was lovely and the fish was good, not great. I should know better as I do not like tomato based sauces with fish. For dessert, we had apricot walnut bread pudding with caramel ice cream and a caramel creme. Both were good, with a slight edge to the bread pudding. A worthy value dinner. Since it was my husband's birthday, he ordered foie gras and crab cakes. I hate the former but the latter was excellent and a generous portion. An amuse bouche of duck confit started the evening off right.
Food was incredible I had buffalo tenderloin and lobster. Plenty of lobster large pieces and juicy tenderloin cooked perfectly. Chocolate souffle was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. I will definitely be back.
A lovely experience! My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary a couple of months late now that we are vaccinated. Peyton, our server, was incredibly attentive, fun, and knowledgeable about all of the menu options. Each recommendation was delicious, especially the chocolate soufflé. We will definitely be stopping by again the next time we are in Memphis!
The food was superb! Chef consistently kept besting himself with each course! Go here eat lots! This is a weekly haunt of mine. The service is wonderful too!
