Classic Memphis BBQ atmosphere. Service was amazing, but..THE FOOD...was out of this world good. I got the ribs half glazed and half sauced and both were perfect. The ribs weren't overly greasy and we're smoked to perfection. They had a nice smoke ring and were fall-off-the-bone ready

This place is leggggiittt and delish!! While traveling through the area in @ramona_the_airstream I searched the web for the BEST BBQ in Memphis. Last time through we had Rendezvous, and it was definitely good. However, bar-b-q shop's glazed ribs beat em hands down. SO GOOD!
Also, our server Jerry was awesome. Super kind and incredibly helpful coming up with all kinds of ideas options to help out family get the best bang for our buck with the most food and variety, he was a true gem.
Kids enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich and polish sausage sandwich, too. Wife had the chicken was also really good. Our dog, Marley went nuts over the scrap rib pieces!
I also loved the scripture by the bathroom, powerful!

This was a nice Bar-B-Q spot. First time visiting, and our server was great. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was great for our visit with out of town guest.
Finally found what I think are the best ribs in Memphis. I’ve been to a few places and they were good, but this place is great. Service amazing, ribs fall off the bone, really tasty sauce and loved the BBQ spaghetti - so unusual!
First time trying out the dry rub glazed rack. I’ll let you look at the photos to determine whether I enjoyed them or not. 🐖
This place is legendary! I’m told I used to sit in a baby carrier on the floor of this place. Clearly the next generation of customers and the next generation of owners thinks this place has some special barbecue! Thank you for keeping it all going, you’re doing great!

My husband and I ordered the slab of ribs, half wet half dry, and enjoyed every bit. I got a side of the glaze to try it as well and it was so incredibly good I almost convinced my husband to get a whole extra rack!
The service was on an entirely different level as well. Our server, Valerie, was so wonderful and patient with us and our young child. She went above and beyond by allowing us to try samples, making recommendations and even finding a unique way to keep our little one occupied. I can't say enough good things about her.
In the end, the dry rub was so good my husband bought a box of it to pass out for Christmas gifts. He would've bought them out of their glaze, but Eric, the owner, said they don't sell it by the bottle yet. Make sure to let us know when you do!!

Stopped by on our drive from Ohio to Texas. The ribs lived up to their reputation as did the sauce. The sweet tea was also awesome as were the slaw and baked beans. 10/10
Eric was super friendly and welcoming as well. We will definitely have to stop back on future road trips.
As one of Southern Living's best BBQ spots in Memphis, we had high expectations. The restaurant did not disappoint. We tried the sample platter, which included ribs, pork, and chicken along with the Shop's iconic "bbq spaghetti." Everything was delicious.
Eugene (?) was our server and he provided excellent service and a bit of history about the place. We can't wait to return for more meals!
