Hair in food 😒 I was really excited to finally try the bowl and wine I have heard all about. So before a comedy show act we decided perfect time to get a quick meal and wine in. I ordered the veggie tahini bowl a red and the 2 I was with got the beef bowl and red and a white. The veggie was massive with lots of sauce, if you aren’t big on tangy mayo then maybe get 1/2 or on side. I added feta for a extra $3, bit high when it’s $4.50 for beef. I proceeded to stir my bowl up, and located tomatoes at the bottom as I went to pull up a peroxide blonde hair was entangled within the mix. I quietly located the staff and advised. He said sorry and went to kitchen to organise another. Within 3min I had a new one on the table, but this time it was very cold which makes me think it is all Pre made. The avocados was freezing cold and hard because it was kept in fridge so cold. I ate and it was okay, sauce was very Over powering. The beef I was told was disappointing, not a overly full bowl and had eggplant, 1 egg, brown rice and some spinach. We agreed a tahini bowl then adding beef could be a better option a value for money. The only good part was really the wine, organic and fresh with a strange fizz to it. It was a pleasant surprise to a otherwise average and gross experience. I was more disappointed that I wasn’t approached post the hair I found deeply embedded in my food.

Food is always delicious, full of fresh ingredients that are cooked really well! The menu is unpretentious, the food honest and service always courteous. Flavours are beautiful and let's the ingredients shine through. My favourite dish is the Cape Grim Grass Fed Beef & Seasonal Vegetables. Price is also more than fair for the taste and quality of the food you're getting.

Really good vegan options and the staff know exactly what you get by changing to the vegan option. Layout is a little confusing as I thought you had to order from the counter but the staff were so friendly it didn't matter. Prices are very good and meals are more than adequate. The lentil and homemade hommus dish is very tasty and I added half an avocado and still had change out of $20.
