I walked past this small Japanese place few weeks back and finally got to try it. Their menu list was quite limited but this was the thing I liked. I could just decide quickly and order. We ordered the chicken karage curry don and crispy katsu don. They were quite delicious. I really liked the sesame dipping sauce for the crispy pork katsu. It was full of flavour. We also ordered the gyoza and nori fries. The place was cozy and the service was fantastic. The English waiter who served us was very polite and attentive. Overall, we had a good experience at this restaurant.

New ownership so webunderstand they are getting on their feet but even so we are very disappointed. Enjoyed the tofu in the agedashi dish but the soup was VERY salty. We liked the rice. However, -Pork Katsu was dry -Curry was served Luke warm -We had lettuce and a bit of carrot as the Bento Box salad -Takoyaki had tiny pieces of meat, but was tasty - No sauce (tonkatsu sauce) with the pork The curry flavour was good but as said was cold, only had onion and one GIANT piece of potato. We won't be back. Photo is when we just started on the Bento boxes. Bit slim for pickings compared to many places we've been around the CBD and inner suburbs.

Decent little taste test of Japan. Felt bad for the waiter as he appeared to be all alone on New Year's Day which was always going to be busy. The food was good, though I wasn't informed they were out of chicken until my Udon already arrived - chicken less. But it was still very tasty. I hope this was just a bad day as this place certainly has potential to be a good time.

The rice tasted like plastic, the worst rice I have ever had in Japanese curry. The carrot was bit too raw. The good thing is they provide paper straws

The food was delicious, service was good but slow, and the decor was cute. Had sashimi, gyōza and karaage.
