I come from Malaysia and I can tell that the food here is real authentic Malaysian food make by Malaysian people. The staff are all really friendly and the service was really good. The food had no MSG in it as said in the menu and it all tasted really nice and the flavours from all the Malaysian dishes I had were all there. All in all this place is highly recommended by me and by far one of the best Malaysian restaurants in Kingsway. 👍👍

I decide to give this restaurant a try because my wife reckons the laksa is good, but she is partial over the rest.
Tuesday is the day the restaurant runs a half-price on a selected item. It is promoted in the local paper. The dining area is just one big bright open space, better than many local eateries.
We feel a bit "lonely" because we are the only customers. I presume the rush hour is over. The two dushes, laksa combination and si yu chicken are nicely presented. In fact, they do look very mouth watering. The laksa tastes as good as it looks, but the si yu (sya sauce) chicken, special-priced of the day, is a bit tasteless and on the overcooked side.
After we leave the restaurant, our mouths become very dry and we definitely feel thirsty.

Amazing service, great ambience and most of all mouth-watering cuisine. I absolutely loved the food and it was definitely worth with an affordable price range. Let’s not forget they also give discounts to students! You should definitely try this restaurant

Definitely recommend the claypot rice. this restaurant recently opened and offers a wide variety of genuine malaysian-chinese cuisine. even has a self-order system that allows you to specify meal details easily. Been here a few times, tried the soya sauce chicken and Wat tan hor, never failed to impress as a malaysian myself. If you're looking to try authentic malaysian food, Papa's is your place.

Good Malaysian food! I tried the Sweet and Sour chicken and really enjoyed the thick sauce that came with it. My sister had the Wa Tan Hor and she really liked it asking for seconds.

I was told that added to most Malaysian restaurants around here is the taste of Brunei. Although an ex Malaysian I could not taste any subtle difference from the mainland

I ordered Hainan Chicken egg noodles soup, it was bland and absolutely tasteless, 90% of the dish is just noodles. Not worth the money

Great coffee. Friendly service. Great snacks. Undercover outdoor seating too. What more could you want?
