Nicely located around the corner from the Melbourne university and Royal Melbourne hospital in a quiet street, is a nice clean cafe with generous servings of good food. Missed the 'books' part of the books n bites cafe, but enjoyed the outdoor seating on one of Melbourne's rare sunny days.

The staff are always friendly, the food is cooked perfectly, the tables are clean. I couldn't ask for more. I get the bacon and eggs for $11.90. That's a very reasonable price. I love going here before morning classes. I'd definitely recommend here.

Great staff, really nice food at reasonable prices, much preferred to the cookie cutter eateries in the area. I try to eat there as much as possible when working in the area. Support locally owned small businesses!

Came for a coffee and a quick bite of food and was very pleased. The coffee was nice and strong, yet had a smooth finish. Expansive range of sweets and savouries.
