Absolutely amazing homemade pasta! I bought the ravioli - pea, broad bean & pancetta as well as the pumpkin ones and they both tasted superb. Authentic good quality highly recommend

Domino's, (not related to D's on Lygon), has been around, for ever, or ever since I was driving around in my Herbie, and it cost $5 to fill up the little Vee Dub.
'Nonna Donini', used to proudly sell me her lovely pasta, from Agnoloti, (Ravioli on steroids !), filled with tasty, healthy ingredients, to her simple spaghetti, Nonna had ensured that her unique blend of pasta, has carried on to the present day.
Recently, tables were placed into the cosy shop and you can eat their exquisite pasta and finish off with a lovely Macchiatto and mouth watering Cannelloni, with the freshest of custard fillings.
Then, as you leave, you take away with you, some spinach and some plain, angel hair pasta, complimented with a generous container of a mushroom, or meat ragu, for that evening, or, freeze the pasta, for another day.
As you get behind the wheel of your Toorak 'Tractor', you are pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the bill was.
Donnini's is the perfect excuse for a Saturday afternoon, after shopping's done and the car cleaned and the kids, playing with the neighbour's kids, and you thought that you'd reward yourself, after a challenging week, with a husband and kids demanding the kind of attention only mummy can give them !

Expect to pay $$$$ to eat in for smaller serves than take away! $26- for lasagna < 1cm high! $26- for 2 small cannelloni!
Have to admit quality is good, but need to rethink their prices for the portion size they serve in shop!

Have been buying their large beef lasagnes for many many years and lately I've noticed the beef component of the lasagne has been disproportionate to the continuous price hike of this product. At $39 you would expect some beef in the beef lasagne. Let's just say it didn't quite meat expectations (excuse the pun). I'll be looking elsewhere for a good lasagne to take home!

Great range of fresh pasta made daily on the premises. Great service.
They also now offer meals and coffee. I haven't tried these but their homemade Italian deserts look delicious.

The pasta has no taste the filling also lacks taste and salt. I used to come here so often and purchase all the different types of pasta with the old owners. Don’t waste your time paying good money for this pasta go elsewhere. Very disappointing. The new owners clearly don’t understand how to make pasta like the owners that built up the Donninis name for pasta.

Had a coffee there, which tasted pretty good actually. Never many people in there, but sure has great pasta and I've noticed people can sit in the window with their laptops.
