Mad Mex

Food was quite tasty. I had the Nachos, which come with your choice of meat, salsa, and salads. I particularly liked that the tomato salsa had fresh coriander in it. The service is friendly. Best of all, they serve beer, although it's just the usual mexican macro brews like Corona, Bohemia and Dos Equis. Be careful though, because the beers aren't cheap.

Extremely polite staff, to the point of not asking what you want as filling and have quick hands to make sure customers are out of the queue and the money is paid as quickly as possible. There are many options to eat but not when you are in the queue because staff is thinking on your behalf to add whatever filling that they want If you are visiting this for the first time make sure you go without many options in mind and ignore the bill once you have paid.

To process long queues, staff are too pre-emptive and place ingredients before you've confirmed you want it. Ended up with something I honestly didn't want, but too polite for the rest of the long queue to have them make it again. Slower service would actually do them well for customer satisfaction. Four months later, an update: Came here when quiet at the end of the day. Above problem still a problem. I was told there wasn't quite enough rice, if that was okay. I can deal with that, although most stores would just close and call it a day if they run out of ingredients, but fine. Problem is the rice was actually hard and dried out from being at the bottom of the dish all day. That's just unacceptable really. Don't serve that. Two attempts, two failures. No need to try again.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR IF YOU DIG FRESH MEXICAN!!!!! The joint in the QV is awesome the people that work there super friendly and helpful when it comes to your choices of toppings regarding your choice especially if it's your first time and dunno what you'd dig on, I recommend the tacos you've got plenty of choices and they're all fantastic (the chicken rocks) also you'll find the staff really very nice and fun this place has got it when it comes to food that makes you feel happy, after a few tacos you'll feel fantastic and full but not that whoa I feel sick kinda full it's a satisfied kinda full. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG HERE!!!! Also they've got an app you can join the club get a luchador name and collect points every time you eat there but for some reasons some joints don't accept it?!?! Dunno why but it's still fun like I said do yourself a favour and get you some "MAD MEX"

Went there expecting something a little better quality that Salsa's, the other fast food Mexican place in Melbourne Central, but this place was not good at all. While I wasn't expecting anything of Mamasita's quality, I wasn't expecting the cheese to be pre melted and poured onto my nacho's like some sort of sauce. Will never be going back here, food quality is not good.
