Definitely the best cafe in North Carlton. Coffee is just right every time. Everything is home made onsite and is delicious. Perfect for breakfast, lunch coffee and desert. The scones are the best in Melbourne. The pies and tarts are the tastiest I have eaten. I visit Sweet Source every weekend that I am in Melbourne. The service is amazing too.

A beautifully sweet cafe in the Rathdowne Village. There are cakes piled up on top of cakes here, it's a fantastical feast for all your senses.
Unfortunately I made the wrong choice when I was here and went for the carrot cake, it looked fantastic, but was dry and crumbled all over my plate when sliced. Perhaps I just had a bad batch - hence the 3*.
