great place, and a little hint of france in the heart of South Melbourne. The food is delicious, the staff are warm and friendly and the coffee is excellent. My compliments to the chef (whom you can see working) for producing such delicious food so consistently. Of course you must check out the sweets and pastries (since it is a patisserie after all) - they are to die for. Enjoy the bonus of eating them with your eyes before you indulge in the handcrafted delicacy, which is almost a pity to eat ... almost.

My family used to be regular customers here when they firstly opened until new waitress is hired. She is tall with long black hair, very racist towards Asian customers. I decided not to come back anymore but this time my sister doesnt have time to go somewhere further as this shop is just few walks from her working place. I order chai latte with chai tea to be brewed in soy milk. The waitress with no emotion face said ok. Then i was rushing back to the car taking baby’s food. The tea came out with normal set like tea pot and a little cold milk cup on the side. My baby was crying and i didnt want her crying to disturb other customers so I drank that n fed my baby as quickly as I could. By the way, we needed to bring high chair by ourselves, no water was offered. Once she was serving food to the customers sitting next to us, I tried to get her attention to ask for some more milk “Excuse me” 3 times without any response. Seriouly she was just next to us and walked away. I was busy with my baby and my sister was rushing back to work. When paying, i told her that i did want to be brewed in milk, she just answered me like this was my fault that i didnt know the this place doesnt serve that style. I told her if you dont serve tea that way, why you didnt tell me when i ordered. She kept saying overhere we do not serve that without saying sorry. I havent ever written any long review like thjs to any place but this place is way horrible and disappointed to regular customers like us (we used to eat breakfast here 3-4 times a week). Me and my family will never ever go back to this place even 1 more time, no more chance to be given. Even my cousins and friends do not go back anymore.
